Any Indian supporter of Palestine?

The Flemish Movement is a peaceful political movement for emancipation and greater autonomy of the Belgian region of Flanders, for protection of the Dutch language, and for the over-all protection of Flemish culture and history. Seems a much more noble and justified cause than establishing an Islamic State like Palestine just because they can't live with the jews.
Besides, these Flemish folks never fired a rocket, blew up a bus etc

Or in other terms, half-assed.

New Delhi: As the Gaza conflict shows no immediate signs of let-up and the number of deaths, including of scores of children, mount to over 1,400, a concerned India is planning to send $1 million to a UN fund to provide aid to the suffering Palestinians fleeing the battle zone.

The $1 million would go towards providing medicines, food, constructing shelters for the Palestinians in Gaza whose land is being bombarded relentlessly in Israeli air and ground attacks, said an official source declining to be named.
"We are planning to send the $1 million to provide medicines, food and other aid to the people of Gaza," the official said.

The money would be sent to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) for Palestine Refugees that provides education, health care, social services and emergency aid to the millions of Palestinians refugees living in Jordan, Lebanon and Syria, as well as in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

India contributes $1 million towards the UNRWA fund each year. The money is being planned to be expedited in view of the unceasing violence and the mounting suffering of the people of Gaza.

India voted against Israel in the July 24 UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) resolution that sought a probe into Israel's offensive in Gaza ad also condemned Tel Aviv's "disproportionate use of force". The India vote caused some consternation in Israel, with which India shares good relations.

There was some censure for India's negative vote for Israel as experts felt that maybe India should have abstained, keeping in mind the good economic relations, especially in defence purchases, New Delhi shares with Tel Aviv.

"India has been always voting for Palestine. We have been doing so for years, and there is no change in that policy of India," said another official source declining to be named.

With regards to Israel, the source said that India continues to maintain good ties with the country and its ties would remain unaffected irrespective of the UN vote. "Our UNHRC vote changes nothing in our ties with Israel.. We will continue as before," the official added.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, giving the perspective on India's ties with Palestine and Israel, said: "We fully support the cause of Palestinians, but we have good relations with Israel."

India joined Brazil, Russia, China and South Africa to vote for a Palestinian-drafted resolution on "Ensuring Respect for International Law in The Occupied Palestinian Territories, including East Jerusalem". In the 46-member human rights council, 29 countries voted in support of the resolution while 17 nations abstained.

Supporting calls for an immediate ceasefire, India said at the UNHRC that it is "deeply concerned at the steep escalation of violence between Israel and Palestine, particularly heavy airstrikes in Gaza and disproportionate use of force on ground, resulting in tragic loss of civilian lives, especially women and children and heavy damage to property."

A 72-hour cease-fire between Israel and Hamas took effect early Friday in the Gaza Strip, as both sides intensified efforts to find a more permanent solution to the nearly four weeks of fighting. Israel and Hamas both said they would respect the cease-fire but would respond to attacks. Four short humanitarian cease-fires announced earlier have ended in renewed fighting within hours.

While Israel has reported 61 Israeli soldiers and three civilians killed, the Palestinian death toll has exceeded 1,400 since the offensive began July 8. According to reports, 17 Palestinians, including 10 members of one family, were killed in Israeli strikes ahead of the cease-fire.

good, but I feel it's an embarrassingly small amount from a country like India.

Idiot.
In this world, no one supports anyone's interests except if they'll benefit from them.
It's a world of agendas .

Ah, another anecdote about how Israel is innocent.

Of course they are Innocent,This time as it was Hamas which stepped on the tail of a lion, when it wakes up this is what happens

Did you ever wonder if Hamas is responding to Israeli aggression? Illegal West Bank settlements? Detainment of children?
Hamas started it first by firing rockets and building tunnels into israel, later on in ceasefire they fired even more rockets. So what do you do? pound the hamas into oblivion.Detainment of children? well if you dress up your kids as suicide bombers and take them on public rallies as something great then even a kid will be treated as a threat. as even a small kid with a gun can shoot, as seen in child soldiers of Africa. So yeah they are doing detaining potential threats, if they don't want it to happen, then stop parading kids as suicide bombers with assault rifles it sends a wrong message who will consider them as potential threat.

There's no selective outrage.
People also hate ISIS.
But look at the difference. One parades itself as a legitimate government with backing from the West, while the other is a o terrorist organization which seeks to bring Jihad.
Do you want people to go on the internet and become online activists about ISIS too? And what happens if they do? You'll probably still be supporting Israel.
There is selective outrage, people might hate ISIS but i never seen a propaganda of this scale in International media or by muslims regarding the massacres in syria or iraq why? because it was a muslim killing another muslim, while a single kaffir killed another muslim is enought to raise hellfire. 1400 killed in israel, 2,00000 killed in syria iraq, which is a greater number for outrage?

Hamas might be posting propaganda, but that won't change the death toll which is shown on the news. Do you think that's BS too? Some sort of Jihadist lie? Somehow Arabs have bribed Western news-channels with Oil dollars?
Death toll is unfortunate, the civilians should stop taking our parades with suicide bombers and kids threatening 'we will kill all jews'.Stop firing rockets into israel, they wouldn't bother you. Both can live in peace. If you rake up an issue unnecessarily then they will do whatever it takes to protect their civilians.

good, but I feel it's an embarrassingly small amount from a country like India.
I say even that amount was unnecessary. We have many people here who could use that money. We get no image makeover nor any gratitude from palestine, they will eventually backstab us and give statements on kashimr supporting pakistan.
Are you that naive to shoot yourself in the face?by giving money to palestine you are doing that exactly.

donating money to the UNRWA is not a strategic geopolitical play, it's a disaster relief contribution for what is clearly a big humanitarian crisis.

There is no humanitarian crisis but a deliberate man made one by Hamas.

You want to see real Humanitarian crisis see syria and iraq

true that the Syrian civil war is on a much greater scale but one can't deny there is a humanitarian crisis is Gaza as well.

Iraq/Islamic state is a whole other story, that situation is beyond anyone's capacity to help.

Why is it beyond anyones help?
why aren't people outraging, taking out protest rallies, rioting, holding placards or carrying our massive protests around the world and in media ,social media, why are they quiet? It is sheer hypocrisy, because iraq and syria is about muslim killing another muslim so they are quiet.
While here it is kuffar Israel which killed some hamas in defence. That calls for a massive worldwide protest.
See the double standards.

Everything is fair in love and War. So what's the fuss.? I always supported civilians over authorities. Palestinians need to get there act together and let there army call the shots not the tunnel infesting rats called Hamas firing rockets from civilian areas is something hard to digest for any sane human being. Also using schools and hospitals to launch rockets, what kind of brainless fools train these guys.?

If any Indian support Palestine please post statement here.
Muslim india will, hindu India wont but there are exception some hindus are muslim at heart they might. Its a different story with hindus, they will support everything against muslim it doesnt matter Arab or Iranian or Pakistani or turkish or even european bosnian.
