Anti-Pakistan conspiracy foiled

Wednesday, April 22, 2009
By Muhammad Saleh Zaafir

ISLAMABAD: An international conspiracy to split Pakistan into two zones by turning them into two separate geographic units was foiled by a brotherly Arab Muslim country in Dubai a week before the Tokyo meeting of the Friends of Pakistan Forum.

A plan to set up the so-called ëTrust Fundí was drawn up for provision of “special aid” to the provinces of Balochistan and the NWFP with huge amount of international assistance separately meant to disconnect them from the rest of the country. The idea was reportedly widely accepted by senior officials in Pakistan and even some high-ups in Islamabad considered it a ìlucrativeî and ìharmless propositionî.

Highly-placed sources told The News that some Western countries campaigned for making the idea acceptable to all the participants of the Dubai meeting. Several calls were made from Abu Dhabi to different world capitals to get the approval of the Dubai meeting but the country in question, who enjoys tremendous esteem in the Muslim world and has a leading role for the Muslim Ummah, came in the way of the proposal. This country delayed announcing its contribution for the Tokyo meeting. It threatened that if the West continues to press for the proposal, it would publicly announce its opposition to the idea and may stay away from the forum, the sources said.

This leading Muslim country was of the view that once the Trust Fund was established, it would be used as conduit for the dismemberment of Pakistan. The diplomats expressed apprehension about Pakistan’s interests and said once the Trust Fund became effective, the United Nations would be subsequently asked to come forward to play its role for the region to the detriment of Pakistan.

It was feared that in a calculated step, international financial institutions would contribute billions of dollars in the name of rehabilitation of those areas. Later, they would ask the world body to come forward to play its role to save their huge investment there.

Thus the move would have the mandate of the United Nations to give it the cover of legitimacy. This could have cut Pakistan to size on the one hand and paved the way for the creation of a buffer state between Pakistan and Afghanistan on the other hand. Most of the bordering countries of Pakistan would have supported such a division.

For the reason, the respected leading Muslim country insisted that any assistance for any region within the territory of Pakistan must be routed through the authority of Pakistan.

Shaukat Tarin, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance and Economic Affairs, told The News that the proposal for the creation of the Special Fund was deferred. He revealed that Pakistan had sought $2.5 billion for security purposes while $4 billion for education, health and other welfare activities. However, Pakistan was assured of $5.5 billion aid, an amount beyond its expectations.

To a question, he said the security requirements and the Trust Fund would be taken up again after the Pakistan Development Forum (PDF) meeting to be held in May/June next. The government will also knock the doors of the IMF for the fund, Shaukat Tarin added.
Anti-Pakistan conspiracy foiled

The Key thing to read is
The idea was reportedly widely accepted by senior officials in Pakistan and even some high-ups in Islamabad considered it a ìlucrativeî and ìharmless propositionî.
There is the 10% party in full swing.

Shocking, it is time for some miracle to happen, people have to stand up against Gorvenment stupidity, today Buner has fallen in hands of taliban, i do not know what our government is doing sitting in those offices of their's, i say that once again army should come back into power, these incompetent politicians have once again fallen short of people's expectations.

.
I'm very grateful to the brotherly Arab Muslim country at the same time very disappointed at Pakistan's government. Pakistan needs Nawaz Sharif back in power, he is very close with brotherly Arab Muslim countries and thats what Pakistan needs right now.

.
^ We need more than just a group hug from the Arab Muslim countries.

We're about a 170 Million people. If we want to solve our problems, we'd have to help ourselves. Which apparently, we won't any time soon. This current Government isn't going to shine either.

Pakistan ka Allah he Hafiz.

.
^ We need all the help we can get. This event proves that Pakistan is facing numerous threats from outside. This threat is very serious. Yes Pakistan must be strong and our leaders must be more intelligent and look out for Pakistan's interst but we also need help from our close alllies who we can trust, like Arab countries, Turkey, and China.

.
In my view, the real problem are the neighbouring Country's national's living in Pakistan, that is Afghani's staying illegally all over in Pakistan, why i say this is these people are very helpful to their kind, fella Afghan's in every possible way they can be, now i'm not saying that this is a bad thing, but some tribe's men can give taliban assistance in setting up in new areas, for e.g. take Sialkot where i come from, these people are all over the place, with no ID's or passport's and move freely to Daska, Gujranwala, Lahore, Peshawar, Islamabad, etc.

they donot face any obstacles in moving anywhere inside Pakistan, this is a big root of the problem in my view that we are facing today which has started from SWAT and now like a cancer slowly spreading uninterrupted throught out Pakistan, STOP THIS INTERNAL MOVEMENT OF AFGHANI'S YOU WILL OVERCOME THE MENACE WE ARE FACING NOW.:tsk:

The help has been there for a long time now. Total support of Saudi-Arab has been with us throughout this turmoil be it in terms of funds or Oil. But unfortunately I feel ashamed to say that our leaders and people don't seem to give two bits of **** about our national situation. If there's anyone trying to raise their concern, it doesn't take long for their voices to fade away.

The only time we see our media trying to raise awareness among common citizens is when a CJ is sacked or when they're blindly supporting one of the political parties. When their favourite party gets elected, you see pictures and video reruns of 'Shaheed' Benazir Bhutto after every 30 minutes. Thanks, but I'm already aware of her supposed 'Sacrifice'. They need to get over it already! Where's the digital awareness when you need it? Is the average Pakistani aware of all the things that we talk about here? The horrific plans that our 'allies' have planned for us, do our people even know about them? Of course the don't. Safe guarding the national interests don't SELL as much as the political circus that we adore so much in our society.

I'm all for 'Hope' and 'Umeed' but there's a limit to everything. We need to help ourselves NOW before there's no identity left for us to be proud of.

Sohail brother, I dont think Afghanis living in Pakistan had anything to do with this event (although I find them to be very ungrateful). Western countries were behind this conspiracy to disintegrate Pakistan. This is way more serious.

Omar bhai, i agree with your opinion of Western countries are behind this conspiracy, but just think they cannot penetrate Pakistan alone, they need some help from the inside as well, this is where the story takes a twist, Pakistan's own nationals will never help those Western nations to penetrate Pakistan for their evil plans, so these expat afghani's play a crucial role in the game, they help the trained Afghani terrorists coming from Afghanistan to carry out the evil acts the western nations want them too.

So you see this is how i see the overall situation, but sadly GoP has become blind towards their own home.

ARMED FORCES JOURNAL - Blood borders - June 2006

Part 1 completed by Bush was a war against Iraq. Part 2 is a war against Pakistan. This entire WOT is nothing but War for Oil and Gas. Notice how U.S. is so intersted in our western provinces.

U.S. doesn't want China anywhere near the warm waters of Arabian Sea, China worked the hardest building Gwadar, U.S. knows Pakistan and China are best friends and Pakistan will show gratitude to China and allow China access to the Arabian Sea via Gwadar so now U.S. wants the western provinces split from Pakistan.

.
And yet certain people are naive enough to believe that all fault lies within and all parties involved in the region are angels. When will we Pakistanis wake up and realize that WOT is just a cover up. US is finding a way to justify itself from crossing the border and it has the support of countries like the UK, India and some back players. Pakistan under its watch wont allow that to happen and hence the plan B, dismantle Pakistan and by bringing UN which is no more then a tool to provide it a legal legitimacy.
A very eye opening article. I would request Pakistani members both living abroad and in Pakistan to try to spread this information as much as they can, try to educate people of what they are about to face, media is a great tool, publish the article where you people deem fit, let the masses get the awareness their government is keeping away from them because of their own vested interests.
God Bless Pakistan

Man! And we thought we had you for a minute but nothing like that muslim solidarity to block our clutching, grasping claws once more...

We'll just have to rehuddle with Mehsud and Faizullah and go over our plans again. I'm sure there's a way.
