Aksai Chin is obviously not a part of India. It was a transgression by the British into a strategic part of Tibet which was never recognized by China. That's the root cause of the conflict between China and India. If India recognized this and compromised early on, China and India would've have had decades of friendship instead of the hostile relationship nowadays.
