If you are actually an Indian then you don't know anything about India.....the Pakistanis are YOUR history. Could be, but with migration domestically of the scale we are talking about here, its more a case of people moving with their families they already have...marriage based integration is less of an issue when you are talking about whole populations of people moving together.

By integration I was talking more about having the Bengalis live side by side with others in India. Plenty parts of India already host significant populations from other states, I don't see it as an issue.

You are projecting a scenario upon which there are plenty of debate about the provability and magnitude.Even global warming is not universally accepted theory.There are plenty of report from scientist,who are claiming a future cooling of the planet or mini ice age.There are many scientist who are hopeful for a future stable climate with the prudent application of environmental engineering.Currently there are many places in the world which are at below sea level and thriving.It would not be difficult to protect many densely populated coastal areas including Bangladesh with global commitment and application of science and technology if the worst happen.
