His disillusion led him to LeT. His dissatisfaction caused him to eventually reject LeT as the government's "B" team and turn instead to Al Qaeda. A fascinating story where education doesn't necessarily denote sophistication and the past collides with the future, leading to murder and mayhem in the present...

The bolded part can be true in entire south Asian police..Their training and professionalism is pathetic.. and the article also nicely summons up the role of LeT in Pakistan against India ..and also clear the mind of some propaganda followers hopefully

Some here will pedantically focus on the use of the term "jihad" to distract from the larger and more important message offered by the killing of Umar Kundi. That is a shame when the story reaches far deeper into a society where Kundi's education placed him among the elite of his country yet the national government could find no useful purpose to his talents and connect those skills to the needs of his fellow citizens.

In turn Kundi found more accessible avenues that offered a sense of gratification and reward for his intellect if not his trained skills. Call him what you will or dissemble the story's title to narrow purpose but the results lie on the streets of Pakistan daily from men like him.

Fundamental means = basic facts a simple definition for you..
religious fundamentalism = that defines and explain basics and facts to start with..

Therefore don't define cnn/bbc definitions of fundamentalism..
in short if you don't know the fundamentals of Mathematics your bound to fail and unable to understand basic and advance mathematics..

I am ok teaching islam and religion but should not seed hatred on its mind. Children takes teacher as role model and don't question unlike others.

It is good if it happens what u said. but not

Mosque is for praying and discussion of religious topic. It should not be used as political purpose. Imam after friday prayer I don't think he teaches islam.
