Anastasiades the first Cyprus President to visit Saudi Arabia

President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades, will be in Saudi Arabia on the January 2, to pay the first visit by a Cypriot President to the country.

CNA has learnt that the President will be accompanied in Riyadh by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Energy, Defence and Transport and the Government Spokesman.

President Anastasiades’ meetings will take place on the 3rd of January.

Government sources have told CNA that the visit is important and symbolic, as it is the first visit of a Cypriot President to the country.

The program of his visit is expected to be finalised later today.

They can support enemies of Saudi Arabia and it will also bring turkey more to the side on Iran and Maybe Iraq and Syria to team up against the Saudis

They already have a base in Qatar and supporting terrorism against Saudi Arabia allies in Egypt and Libya . Not to forget Qatar financial support for Houthis in Yemen.

The relations with Cyprus and Greece is more to do with Economics and Saudi Arabia will not get any advantage by building a base in Cyprus , they can simply use any Egyptian base on the Meditteranean .

Turkey can do a lot of things, and did a lot of things in the past.

What made them capture 90% of Yemen and build bases in Djibouti and Somalia will not stop them from building bases for the Greek army in Greece for joint use. You are free to attack Greece but then the international community will not let it pass easily, the west are eager for war with Turkey.

Time have teached me that Erdo is nothing but a big mouth and what we see today is a Kurdish State on your southern border and Turkey cannot dare to touch it due to Russian and American restrictions.

I did not talk about your capability , Syria and Iraq are controlled by Russia and USA now and no country can take out a major operation there without their permission whether it is Turkey or anyone else.

You have seen how Russia humiliated your country and Erdogan had to sell them Aleppo and the Syrian opposition to renew Turkish relations with Russia. The only question I have is why did Erdo start all this mess from the begining ? he could have stayed neutral and the pkk would have not grown on your southern borders . How can he be short-sighted in such a way ?

Russia is a superpower and no one can stand in front of it whether Turkey , Saudi Arabia or Iran .

Good luck with that, Egypt and Cyprus have already discovered their Gas fields , Egypt started production and Cyprus is planning gas pipelines with Egypt to start exporting through their LNG plants .
