You're completely deluded if you think the americans would intervene ever to stop india from attacking Pakistan even in 1971. When they couldn't even defeat the north Viatnamese and the soviets were completely behind your country.

Even if Pakistan had won the 1971 war, bangladesh would have eventually been created. You CANNOT form a nation ftom 2 seperate land masses 1000s of kms apart whose people are completely different to one another in terms of physical looks, genetics, race, heritage, culture and way of life.

The above is the same reason why Pakistan was created. By your logic then india is a defeated, destroyed nation because you lost 30% of your land mass in 1947 in the creations of Pakistan and bangladesh.

Think you have reading issues. I did not deny the Pakistan surrender to india/bangladesh when we were fighting odds of 10:1. I doubted american intervention though.

As far as bangladesh is concerned, we could not continue the set up we had between the 2 nations forever even if we had done so for 30 or 100 years for that matter. The bangladeshis are too different in every way to Pakistanis for that to happen. By the same logic Pakistan should create a nation with Turkey and Iran because we are far closer and have more in common with them than with bangladeshis. If that can't happen than can neither bangladesh be part of Pakistan forever with or without indian intervention.

Interesting. But whichever way you look at it, Pakistan has ALWAYS been outnumbered fighting an enemy/enemies many times more bigger. What those figures don't include is the figures that were listed in the Pakistan column who were in fact east Pakistani forces=bangladesh forces.

That is not the point. The point is that keep presenting your opinions as facts when you need to learn to differentiate between the two. Figures for Bengali resistance is given separately and the forces loyal to Pakistan are added in the Pakistan column.

Pakistani army was firmly entrenched in one of the toughest terrain known to man with US & UK backing it up. Excuses can only go so far.
