Actually Islam forbids us to destroy crops or kill/injure animals even during war. We are required to try our best not to harm non-fighters and their property. Pakistan being an Islamic Republic binds the army also to follow Islamic principles.
P.S: I think the message is conveyed from the picture to the other side. But Pakistan should not get as low as our neighbor is.
