I know where this is coming from.... if you did something bad to someone, you have to be forgiven by that person, but if you are not, then you have to make up for the harm you caused that person, one of the ways is that you can pay or make up for it is to give them some of the credit you earned just to make up for it and make it even . Its a little complicated but I tried to keep it as short as possible.
