What's new

Americans,Saudis & Brits Backing Nawaz Sharif For 2013 Elections.

Propaganda ?

You cannot get away from Western powers. Sharifs have made it clear. We want trade not aid. Their main manifisto revolves around economy being a priority. For that to happen you need to make everyone in this world your partners.

http://www.defence.pk/forums/strategic-geopolitical-issues/131078-cia-killed-great-bhutto.htmlIf Americans could wield the kind of power to mind-control generals and their lackeys then you have to explain why all of these tolerate anti-Americanism in Pakistan, yes?

If we Pakistanis have our way we will kick out every single American from our soil and reduce the embassy to a 40 member staff including the security. Its an elite that needs America to keep Pakistan seduced not normal Pakistani citizens.
I admit I'm not wholly against your idea, but have you figured out the effects? "Forty member staff" - is that just the American citizens, or the Pakistani employees, too? Forty including security probably translates into only four people processing visas since there are also people working on business, economics, public relations, treasury, trade, law enforcement, etc. Four people can't process many visas out of the thousands of Pakistanis who seek to travel to the U.S. each year. As for education...that would probably shut down, too.

Sharif is a typical patriotic chauvinists, that will sell Pakistan just to maintain his throne. He is clearly anti-Chinese and wants to form links with the West or want to destabilize and colonize Pakistan into a puppet regime. Although this time the public is more aware and thus will hang him.

@Solomon2 I personally wish the US Pak relations to be watered down.

1: End to USaid
2: End to military assistance
3: Basic diplomatic relations 'on when needed basis'
4: Decrease in staff to a bare minimum
5: End to all US NGOs
6: End to the 'MNNA status'
7: Never to allow any Pakistani bases for US ops ever again.

To start a new relationship based on 'calculated re-engagement'. With Pakistan joining the non allied states.

@Aeronaut: Except #6, the rest are all steps that Pakistan can take without waiting for anyone else. We can refuse all aid and military assistance, and cut down all relationships and NGOs to the bare minimum all by ourselves. What is stopping us from doing so?

We require no analysis or approval from either Americans or the Saudis.

Salaam to all the Muslims,

This news is nonsense.

Remember when President Asif Ali Zadari went to United Arab Emirates in December 2011 for a medical treatment, there was so much news and news and news that he's fled the country, Acting President Farooq H. Naik was going to take over and/or military was on the brink of a coup d'etat. There was just so much hysteria created in the Pakistani media about the whole incident.

President Asif Ali Zardari returned to Pakistan from his medical treatment and presided over the country as normal. It was a big slap on the face of the Pakistani media.

A reminder:

General Elections would not be held in Pakistan if other countries were hand picking Democratically Elected Presidents and Prime Ministers in Pakistan. Only military-rules come to power by foreign nods.

ISLAMABAD: With clouds of uncertainty hovering over the return of President Asif Zardari, the government’s media machine has started showcasing acting president Farooq H Naek as the ‘real and efficient’ head of state in what appears to be an ‘all is well’ message.

For the first time since President Zardari departed for Dubai for ‘ health treatment’ early last week, the government on Tuesday circulated footage in which Naek was seen chairing meetings and acting as the president of the state. His words in official statements seemed more assertive — matching those which Zardari had been disseminating from the presidency.

Though there wasn’t any explanation from the government for this sudden and unusual ‘focus’ on Senator Naek, experts interpret it as an indication that the president might take much longer to return than initially assumed.

On Tuesday, Naek addressed a gathering of Pakistani envoys converged on Islamabad from key capitals of the world to review the country’s war on terror strategy. He also met with Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani.

The acting president said the November 26 Nato air raid on Pakistani border posts had “necessitated” appropriate short and long-term measures to safeguard the country’s national interests as well as meet challenges of the emerging situation.
“While Pakistan’s relationship with the US constitutes an important component of its foreign policy, the changes in the international environment since 9/11 warrant constant evaluation and assessment,” he said in the meeting.

Naek expressed hope that the collective wisdom of the envoys at the conference would help in policy evaluation and course correction, if necessary.

Meeting with the PM

At a separate meeting with PM Gilani, the acting president shared the observations of the premier and said the present democratic government was “strong and would not face any difficulty in scuttling the moves orchestrated by those who are known for their political shenanigans”.

He discussed the prevailing situation in the country and said that the political opponents would not get the political mileage they were hoping for.

Isn't this old fart not even eligible? He's already led twice and he failed to deliver on both occasions.

How much are you willing to pay in taxes? How invasive should the tax assessors be?

4: Decrease in staff to a bare minimum

No more aid to Pakistan after the next flood or earthquake, check.

To start a new relationship based on 'calculated re-engagement'. With Pakistan joining the non allied states. Union with India?

1: We need to raise the 'taxpayer blanket' not taxes. Pakistan is a self sufficent country only if we fix our taxation regime. Pakistan has 200-250 Billion dollars, in swiss banks, large mineral and industrial potential, energy security from Iran,C.Asia,Russia and the
Mideast. All we need is an organic democratic govt which both the Americans and Mideast don't want.

2: We can live without the US disaster aid..check

3: Joining non allied states, means union with India are you high?

Bottom line is that a real democratic state is not what the US desires,it desires a puppy dog able and willing to butcher the national interests of almost 200 million people,to serve the American dictates over a phone call. A puppy who is anti China, anti Iran, anti education, pro al-qaeda who took funds from OBL when the OBL was a 'useful idiot' for the US.

A puppy who shelters a terrorist group, wanted to become 'the caliph', has links with right wing extremist groups....... This is what America wants....a stooge!

I think most Pakistanis would happily accept that

But this is all our own internal issue. Why are you so worried about it?

Its FORCED upon us, we have NEVER required any of this BS.

Because of the segment of society who are priveleged but act like slaves because all they care about is their wealth

Zardari had quite an elaborate number of havens he can run to. I saw pictures of his palace in Dubai. A beautiful estate.

Burn the slaves and give a voice to the common man and the middle class - the current backbone. The mentally slaved
