Please hesitate not to report such posts and posters. I know most of the times reports go either unnoticed or fail to bother certain mods but you must still continue to report. @Slav Defence Please look into this. I have been hearing about this alleged 'gender harassment' and it looks not good at all that notice is not being taken at management level.

I reported doppelganger's post yesterday no one took an action.and then he keeps making indirect refernecs, like psycho repressed chick,isis like sociopath, and then suggestive referneces using human body parts names is a common thing but i dont have hope with admin ,koi action kya letay they even unbanned him from whatever thread. No use complaining here.

@WebMaster @Horus Please look into this. We already have few female posters and harassment like this would eventually reduce their representation even further, not to mention that the forum will earn a bad name for allowing posters who happen to harass female posters.

I've noticed some ex-military members wear those - Gambit with the USAF and defense industry, yourself (I'm not familiar with the branch), Sven in the Navy, but I too am ex-military (RNoAF) and am an active member of the Norwegian defense industry. Any thoughts on how to go about getting a fancy tag?

OF THE 192 POSITIVE RATING I GOT. NONE WERE LEFT BY AMERICAN....

Well, I do have some American member leaving me one or two positive rating, but never American' American. I mean, com'on, I have been pro-US all along and this Is how my compatriot treats me?? I even got Chinese member leaving me positive rating....

Please,this discussion was initiated by Mr.Gary I guess to prove that he was given ratings by more Pakistanis than Americans.I always appreciate and have noticed and mostly Americans here are very much co-operative here and have most constructive thinking as compare to others.However,in case of religion,I have seen going them worse.
See,I hate such freedom which allows me to throw insult at a person because he is christian or American and same analogy should be logically applies to American.I appreciate all those things done by @gambit or @jhungary or any other US citizen.However,I have noticed that some people are not tolerant towards any religion and they deserve straignt ahead ban(not pointing out to gambit,talking generally..please don't misunderstand).This includes Indian,chinese,Iranis and everybody else as well and so do Americans.
I remember that there was a poster Solomon and how he abused ''holy kaaba'' and get banned..and so I can put forward some more examples without any hesitations since my intention is sincere....
anyways long story short,cut it out..everyone has abused all religions without even understanding them...therefore discussing any religion is prohibited at PDF.This is defence forum,not religion forum...

P.S respect each other and you will get respect.I respect all Americans and their religion,my relatives also lived there and my senior professors studied there(some of them) and in the same way I expect all Americans to respect mine and stay away from abusing it-

I think the question on who gave more positive rating depends on how people use rating system.

American (Including me) have a stricter system regarding rating, we don't thanks or positive rate other post lightly. Part of it as Gambit pointed out, some people just got thanks regardless. I saw a post which intent to insult a whole group of people and the poster racked up 9 thanks in just 10 minutes. Where only one people actually do something about it by -ve that post (@Gufi know what I am talking about)

This is a fact so clear that even American don't thanks or rate other American.

Another factor is, you actually asked me a few months back, why I don't generally thanks or rate people, I have a system I only thanks post that give me new knowledge, and I only positive rate other post when people put effort in the post to bring out the knowledge. Couple to the fact that I don't get tag often, I don't generally rate people post that often as a result.

Hopefully it changes, even I have disagreed with you on many matters like the Taiwan issue just recently but we talked decently, exchanged views and stopped the debate when we saw there were no common grounds. Sadly that is missing here

I think the problem is we don't have a dedicated place to place professional or informational article. It really easy to lost in general trolling within the forum. I am probably very unnoticeable in this forum, many people don't know I even exist over here. But in other forum (Name to be withheld) Where I simply put my article n a dedicated section, and that way it's a lot easier to find.

This probably the problem why peeps here don't do write up, it will simply melt into general population....

I think this is something the management should consider

Yeah, this kind of interaction is missing a lot in the forum, I guess most people join this forum and answer the thread to win an argument. Me? I don't really care, I express my view and move on. As I said many, many time winning and losing in this forum does not matter, it is not a court where no judge and jury will decide if you have a case or not. You (Figuratively speaking) get a grand total of nothing by winning an argument.

Yet when you look at Far East Forum, people in there are just argue for the sake of argue, they don't really care if they had the point or not, as long as they are the last man standing. And sadly, this included, for some reason, insult to other member.

PDF database. Although it needs serious revamping, slav is working on it. It is a place to start, for example we are working on something and when done, hoping to make it a part of PDF database, that way it won't get lost.
