American Embassy in Islamabad Constructing Firing Ranges & Rappelling Towers

master servant relationship------------ no need to worry..

Daddy America has a new slave LOL The name of this slave is India.

You should be very worried.

We shafted these Yankee fvcks according to their own admission in Afghanistan LOL Doesn’t looks like a very slave master relationship to me.

And why do they need marines stationed there?

How many countries are allowed a large contingent of their elite forces stationed in their consulates in Pakistan besides USA?

When is Pakistan going to station thousands of marines in Pak US embassy?

These are embassy-related developments and not a matter of grave concern. Just make for sensational news.

US is able to extract meaningful information about any country through numerous channels and much of these assets are beyond our reach or capability to influence anyways. For starters: https://satelliteobservation.net/2016/07/30/history-of-the-us-reconnaissance-system-i-imagery/

Now, shall we talk about developments behind the walls of the embassies of other countries in Pakistan as well? Silly fear-mongering.
HUMINT is still better then every other tool.

Still they make firing ranges and rapelling towers right in middle of your cities.. So much for freedom from Amrikans

US Marines in Pakistan? This sounds more like script for war. Hey @OsmanAli98 are we heading to US invasion of Pakistan with invasion commencing with conquest of Islamabad?

More like the US-backed Afghan regime FAILED to deliver and/or live up to the expectations of the masses across the board, alienating many Afghans due to senseless killings, corruption, lack-of-justice, or politics of revenge. These developments paved way for the Afghan Taliban to RE-SURGE in various sectors of the country, and now US finds itself in WTH situation vis-a-vis Afghanistan.

Americans are finally admitting it: https://foreignpolicy.com/2019/02/0...-afghanistan-counterinsurgency-cords-vietnam/

Pakistan is no longer in the position to play host to US-led War On Terror in Afghanistan (struggling economy; struggling industry; pressures of global-warming); this is why PTI-led government have exerted lot of pressure on Trump administration and Afghan Taliban to devise a political solution for their nonsense in Afghanistan and be done with it. Pentagon had reservations but Trump administration is OK with this arrangement and we should hope for the best.

As for American embassy turning into a fortress in Pakistan - no point in fretting over it. American embassies are like fortresses in several countries in accordance with respective regional considerations. If you are concerned about Americans extracting meaningful INTEL from Pakistan then you do not understand how this game is played in large part and we cannot do much about it regardless; refer to you my previous post in this thread.

Pakistan's primary concern should be revival of its economy and industrial capability, and GOP have no choice but to work with US irrespective of how some people perceive US and US-PAK relationship on the whole. Take it easy.

This development won’t go unnoticed. That is all I am going to say.

The Americans may have it their way, but the damage was done a long time ago.

All I will say is this:
"Zaroorat kay waqt main ghaday ko bhi baap banana parta hai".

But wasn’t the expansion of the embassy in 2009 approved only because of the promise of continued US aid?

They have reneged on that now having been exposed as total hypocrite and users of Pakistan.

Many countries with US embassies have Marines stationed there. It is the job of Marines to guard consulates which per international law are US territory.

WTF.. is this US embassy or new pentagon.

Why are they asking for permission than?

if pakistan ever goes bankrupt pak should raze this building its because of their egoistic war we are still trying to stand on our feet

The scale, capacity and reach of American surveillance apparatus is such that HUMINT is just a part of its equation.

HUMINT will be part of the game in some way or form [always] but information extraction procedures are increasingly technology-driven. If you happen to get access to declassified bits of information on the web, you will notice NSA in the discussions.
