How can there be peace in selected areas in the South when they themselves fight , and shoot,and kill each other? That means nobody is in control of all the muslims extremist,and there's really no legitimate leader who can talk about peace with the government.

I think how they act and behave has something to do with the doctrines and principles that they embraced and belief - in. that's why conflict never ends...

These muslims terrorists are a hopeless bunch. They seem to have allergy for peace. They can't stand peace. They really believe that any violent act they do earns them brownie points from Allah and they will be martyred and will join Allah in heaven. Are you kidding?? Pls re-read history and learn that only 15-20% of the population of Mindanao are Muslims (rest are Pagans) when people started coming (which in your words "swamping"). They should've claimed only the west and southwest parts of Mindanao since those parts are the place where these Muslims originated. Get your facts straight.

MNLF speaks on behalf of all natives of Mindanao including the Lumads. The Moro Sultanates jurisdiction encompassed most of the island and Lumads are also their subjects. They also raised the concerns of the Palawan natives wo are also being subject to swamping.

Just for your information, the MNLF are mostly Tausugs and the MILF are mostly Maguindanao Muslims. Although both have the same religion but these people also do not really see each other eye to eye. Misuari must be ashamed of what he did to the Moros. He lives like a king when he was the ARMM governor then and was not able to uplift the lives of the moro people. He did not support peace but instead just hibernate while the MILF grow into a much bigger force. The government battled the MILF in the field and it was intense. MILF leaders are now old and will die soon without having to see the light. They now opted to seek the support of the government for their own version of autonomous government, innovating ARMM that could better the lives of the moro. Misuari should shape up or ship out. He was given his chance then but he failed miserably.

He was very corrupt, and the ARMM became the worst and most corrupt region in the country. These Muslim rebels were just good in rhetoric and in complaining and rebelling but when given a chance to prove their worth, they are actually very corrupt and incompetent. They just want to grab land thru rebellion and killings. And they are just using this peace nonsense talk to advance their true motive that is to make Mindanao an Islamic State and finally the whole Philippines.

It's true its the main cancer why we are lagging behind in our quest for governance/economic prosperity, but with Aquino’s high standard on governance, particularly minimizing corruption infested government will give the foreign investors a good beginning in setting up/joining in economic ventures. A well scrutinized and approved annual national budget is the best prevention against corruption because gov’t funds are allocated to specific programs or projects, down to the last centavo.
