Actually never tried Vietnamese food before. I will have to make a point of changing that soon.
it is worth trying when you make a stop in Vietnam. The most popular food is "Pho", a hot noodle soup with beef or chicken varieties.

Too much salt for me, bro! :woot:

You can ask for fries without salt -- at least in Australia, you can.

Sometimes they don't like it because they have to cook a new batch and serve you before salting the rest, but the customer is allowed to ask.

Civilian Nuclear pact and McDonalds, in the same week?
health risks are the same though
we will build nuclear subs when we get nuclear technology from Uncle Sam. Eating a burger on a nuclear sub. It is nice, isn´t it?

For heavens sake people........ it's just food...... don't play politics with taste buds.........

US junk food = Awesome.
Chinese cuisine = Awesome.

Now stop d**k measuring contest and talk unhealthy food...... o_O
correct, people just have more choices in foods.

That's exactly what I and everybody else on this planet who walks into a Chinese restaurant think about China's cultural imperialism...um wait a minute...I never think that...does anybody here ever think that...maybe we aren't all paranoid..like someone.

Actually, I would bet you that a significant percent of people in the developing world will go to an American fast food joint because it is American.

They are not just buying a burger, they are buying a piece of Americana.

It may be hard for an American living in America to appreciate the respect and admiration that America commands around the world (even if people won't admit it or disagree with America's politics).

I know people in Pakistan look forward to a "Pizza Hut night" or a "McDonald's night" as someone in America might look forward to a "steak night".

From the pics I can understand Vietnam people are so obsessed with western culture.
Next south Korea in making?
I heard Korea pop becomes very popular now. the girl groups perform regular in Vietnam.

Don't make this thread became out of topic please,

It's just a pure business between one of global companies such as Mc D and their Vietnamese partner, no more no less. Much better to talking about Mc Donald's related issue, like low salaries they offered to their part-timer, the differences in tastes between Vietnam Mc Donald's with other countries Mc Donald's (personally i don't like the tastes of their burger in US than South Asia countries like Singapore, Malaysia or Indonesia) and so on.....
yes, it is business. it is you who decides where to go when going out: to a street food vendor or McDonald. :yes4:

true my parents took me there when it opened in my home city in China back when I was a child. It was a huge line, the taste was crap, didn't really go there much again except my piano lessons were right next door so a easy and fast place to eat.

Today I can't even look at fast food, due to my college years of never cooking I had to eat out all the time and that resulted in well, nothing pleasant, I'll say that.

You can eat phones?

Phones are replaced and the old ones may never be used because they are outdated, do you use the phone invented 15 years ago? Vietnam food is long lasting, you can eat it in the future at any time you like.

well i apologies i should have been a little modest.

I always go for the Vietnamese bread variant that costs only 71cent, while a big mac costs $2.85.

The Vietnamese submarine sandwich is more healthy than both hamburger and subway.
