AMCA yet to take off from drawing board

We've been hearing about the AMCA for ages now...

Whereas there was never any acknowledgement that the J-20 and the J-31 even existed until they were actually flying.

There is a difference between being open and boasting about something that is not even off the drawing board.

Indians have been boasting about the AMCA since I joined this forum several years ago.

Now fast forward to today, we learn that it is still just a concept on a piece of paper.

You joined in Jul 2010. ADA came out with first wind tunnel model in 2009. How is it several years??

Don't you think it would be better to keep low-key rather than to boast about such things?

It just ends with disappointment, like the all those predictions of India reaching a sustained double-digit growth rate.

Why not achieve it first and then boast. No one can fault you then.

Who said it is boasting ??

We are open and our institution like to give information to it's citizens about what they do .

Achieved or not atleast we will know where our money is going .

The only ones who think we are boasting are the ones who cannot stand what we are doing.

I agree with you on the fault part,But I don't think our Govt. will be least thinking about what some internet warriors have to say about in an internet forums.

So has the development of AMCA started yet? The date is important to figure out if AMCA will beat LCA's development record.
