Regardless of the assumption about the female being a wife or a gf, why should a committed man be stopped from appreciating beauty?

Preparing for women's ire.....

In that case why should a committed woman be stopped from appreciating a handsome man why should she be cursed and criticised for liking a handsome man other than the one with her

What about woman who stare man? Infact just tomorro night in market two girls staring me at Mall, but i ignore them.. Every side is little bit bad not just man..

Debrahlee Lorenzana sues Citibank saying she was fired from Citibank for being too hot - NYPOST.com

Woman says she was fired from Citibank for being too hot

Some like it hot -- just not the bosses at Citibank, a lawsuit claims.

Debrahlee Lorenzana, a curvy Queens brunette, said she was dressing professionally, but her male bosses and co-workers still found her too steamy and fired her.

"Everything I wore was professional, things everybody wears in corporate America," Lorenzana, 33, told The Post yesterday. "The way they looked at what I wore was very disappointing."

Lorenzana, 33, went to work as a business banking officer at Citibank's Chrysler Building branch in September 2008.

"Shortly after the commencement of her employment, branch manager Craig Fisher and assistant branch manager Peter Claibourne began articulating inappropriate and sexist comments concerning plaintiff's clothing and appearance," her Manhattan court filing says.

She was told "she must refrain from wearing certain items of clothing, in particular, turtleneck tops, pencil skirts, fitted business suits, or other properly tailored clothing," the suit says.

"In blatantly discriminatory fashion, plaintiff was advised that as a result of the shape of her figure, such clothes were purportedly 'too distracting' for her male colleagues and supervisors to bear."

The sexy single mom pointed out to her bosses "that other female colleagues wore similar professional attire," and that some dressed far more provocatively, the filing says.

But her supervisors shot back that those women didn't have to worry about turning them on "as their general unattractiveness rendered moot their sartorial choices, unlike plaintiff," the papers say.

Lorenzana was also told that "as a result of her tall stature, coupled with her curvaceous figure, she should not wear classic high-heeled business shoes, as this purportedly drew attention to her body in a manner that was upsetting to her easily distracted male managers."

"She was punished because her male bosses couldn't handle their libidos," Lorenzana's lawyer, Jack Tuckner, said.

The fed-up femme fatale made a formal complaint to HR in May of last year, and asked for a transfer. She was finally transferred in July, but matters didn't improve at the next branch, where she said she was chided for failing to recruit new customers. She was axed in August.

Lorenzana's gender-discrimination suit was dismissed last month because her deal with Citibank called for any disputes to be settled in private arbitration. She's pressing her case there.

In a press release, Citibank said, "We believe this lawsuit is without merit and we will defend against it vigorously."

I have no problem with that. She should have made a wiser decision :)

This does not mean open relationships or anything. Why should one be criticized for just looking and appreciating (without lustful eyes and saliva dripping from the mouth).

Ask them why they were staring? Have you never done that. It's actually a really funny scene when you walk up to a girl and ask if there's anything wrong with you for she was staring and the girl in most cases is flabbergasted. If the girl happens to be brimming with confidence, then it's a bad day.

Anyways, your intention in posting this was different.

I am asking the same question that why women are criticised and doomed for the same act :)

And why it is considered that if she opt not to anger her man is the wise decision but when a man does so it zan muridi ??

You mean like if you're out with your husband and he's checking out other girls? Or vice versa?

Sometimes its instinctive. The idea is to play it cool and not stare for its rude and insulting to your partner of either gender.

Male chauvinism has been one of the few things to have survived throughout history. It has no point, is entirely sexist but it reminds entrenched in the minds of many.

You'll like these :- Now That's Funny! : Chauvinist Pigs

One of the worst experiences of my life. Every underage kid trying to act mature and flirting overtly and trying to impress everyone. Would have stabbed myself had I been forced to sit among that idiot crowd longer than I had to. Thankfully I had friends with whom I could spend time with. LUMUNs were slightly less worse though.

I guess it's the same deal at every student convention I have ever been to. I ran away from all Young Leaders Conferences, Youth Conventions and similar stuff (after taking my prizes though :p). I cannot stand fakeness and its an orgy of heavily cologned, overly flamboyant hairstyle, inflated self worth, popped collars, titled caps, fake charity bracelet wearing, faux accented immature douchebags trying to present themselves as achievers (including girls must of whom act way crazy then the boys). These aren't necessarily the school going kids who fill in the numbers but adults doing their undergrads as well who feel it is important to wear the shawl of fakeness when they go to a large convention. And there are then a dozen or so people who feel irritated or uncomfortable around most of the crowd (like me but some don't want to stab others)
