I hear more Long Live China on this Forum...than a Long Live Pakistan...
You just cracked the code of what is wrong in Pakistan and why we haven't progressed much, its always been long live Saudi Arabia, Long live Iran or Long live China. Its never long live Pakistan and no its not just the mere slogans but what the Pakistani people and leadership really believe. If they actually meant what slogans they chanted then Pakistan wouldn't still be begging to IMF, getting itself grey listed or getting screwed by Chinese in every sense of the word.
This is Pakistani nationalism colliding with Islamic radicalism in UK. Between those who espouse a wider global Muslim order and those who push for Pakistani nationalism. You can see this contradiction everywhere. This punk @Numerous belongs to the radical Islamists that actually are resented by most Britons as well for the same reason in other nation states. They espouse a global order and NOT the nation state.
@Feng Leng
I love Pakistan and UK(for the protection and religious freedom the country has granted me) and stick up for both countries whenever necessary but I also feel like it would be wrong not to stand up for Uighurs in China, Yazidis in Iraq, Hindus, Ahmadis and Christians in Pakistan. For me its not a religious issue but an issue of being a decent human being. I don't claim be a decent human being but we can all do our duty to speak up for those who do not have a voice.
I think like this because I personally encountered religious persecution and even physical attacks, for this reason I value personal freedom more then some ungrateful British Pakistanis living the cushion life on their daddy's taxi income and benefit fraud while screaming death to Britain.
