Probably it is for Bayraktar TB2 (It was a 100hp Rotax Engine) But I don't understand why they are keeping that as a secret... It wasnt the case for PD-170. Maybe it is for another project, I don't know... Still, great news...

It is not for Bayraktar TB2, but something like this.

Makes sense... I just thought 115 HP is makes sense for Bayraktar TB2 but this is much more logical. After all as we saw in Saudi oil facilities this technology is crucial.

Now turkey has two domestic UAV engines
One from TAI and now from baykar
There are ongoing development engine projcets pd500 and pd800(probably ready by 2023) baykar has signed for joint production 750hp engine with ukraine

It's probably for Turkish "suicide" drone KARGI.
There is domestic engine also for KARGI I think it’s called pd50-most likely produced by TAI

Ahaha, if you only produce 10% of the engine and therefore accept it as domestic, you have to accept the GE F110, TS1400 and T700 engines as domestic.

Is this enough ?

I KnoW EvErYtHiNg. Is Thİs EnOuGh? I know this type of guys. They claim they know everything. And They also claim we know nothing. And When you say something against them, they accuse you of being dramatic and dreamer while they are always super realistic and talking based on facts(from a-s-s)

Weight is one of the most important spec for air vehicles, so there would be no pd500 or pd800 for aircrafts.
TEI Codes stand for
P : Piston
D: Diesel
500: 500 hp
G: Gasoline
T: Turbo
j: Jet
P : prop
500 hp diesel engine is pretty huge mass, they would prefer for TurboProp over diesel .
,just for your info...

Yes you are right i have mistaken engine nomenclature shoud have written 500hp and 800hp turboprop

If you have some inside information that only 10% of the engine is locally produced then i have nothing to say against but if you don’t have such info then it’s not fair to downplay achievement of turkish companies i guess you probably also think that anka is american/israeli because anka resembles predator/heron maybe according to you aselsan is just a sham company all its products are actually imported turnover of 10 billion $ is fake nunber I can understand when foreigners underestimate turkey but it will be always for me a dilemma why there are so many turks against themselves

You will bring destur before you bring together a giant, proud company like Aselsan with a known sawdust company that does nothing but lick someone's import product.

If Aselsan wasn't in this country, we wouldn't have anything left, but if it wasn't for the company that was collecting each product, we could see 100 percent local and national ANKA instead of the current trash cans in our skies. But I don't think you have the brain to understand that.
