Akinci & Aksungur and Turkish Unmanned Fighter Aircraft Program

You are a buttload of shit, if you think that criticizing a company is making you any less of a Turk. What kind of retarded thinking.

You are just critizing for the sake of it, why is it wrong for bayraktar to advertise, they are not funded by the government like TAI. If advertisement is going to bring them more customers and more people to work for them, i am happy.

Guys! I hope you wake up. The followers of a corrupt ideology cannot hide their contempt for those who succeed reversing the weakness of Turkey's military strength.

Myself and others prefer radically change the long term threat to which turkey faces. We must be wary and cannot allow those who hate this nations identity to control or blackmail our important defence tech.

No, not exactly. But Bayraktar is simply loving the attention of the people on social media and TAI is more classical, conservative when it comes to communication. Especially for a defence company Bayraktar is sharing a lot publicly.
To say that Bayraktar is a professinal company is at best naive. Its a familty company. In the end how professional can they be ?

It is obvious that you do not understand anything. The quality of the vehicles is not measured by the amount of load they carry. Turkey's most talented uav model high nativism share, compared to engines that use advanced autopilot capability and payload capacity - endurance advantages caused by Anka +. While the MQ4 Reaper has a payload of 1700 kg with a single 900 HP turboprop engine, Akıncı can only carry 1350 kg with a 2x750BG turboprop. If you don't know how to do the job, you give it to those who know how to do it.
1) Akinci is designed to carry cruise missiles and so on.. to do that, you need to have very strong wings, that alone add huge weight, look sat its wing design, specifically designed to carry it..
2) Akinci will carry AESA radar + satellite communication, this alone requires curve and long nose and both which create drag on the air, they made specific design to overcome it, those long and heave tail is designed to balace that too, which adds additional drag and weight to the aircraft no matter what. They could also make simple tail deisgn like they did with TB2 and Tai did with Aksungur.
3) Bayraktar was the first company bring auto fly and landing, developing all those sub computers to support it. Thats why they won the contract because they beat all other competitors there. They did it all without funding, without any help. so they deserve to be supported by the government..
4) Russian engines are famous for being heavy compare to what power they produce, so having the same power doesnt mean those engines have the same weight too, first, Akinci use 2 engien to get that power, this alone mean more weight, second, it use Ukranian old engine compare to latest US engine which deffinitely has more power to weight ratio.
5)Imagine Tai produce TB2 and US make a sanction against Tai for supporting arms to LIbya when there is embargo... beasically it works for countries to have private companies so they can sell those to anybody without the fear of any sanction. amazing to see that Baykar was ready to get sanctioned for the advantage of Turkey... lets say they sold 10 tb2 to Libya, its not much compare to their capabilities to sell more, but they still didnt even think about it.. i like having these companies

Family companies are not professional companies? What kind of outrageous bullshit is that?

What about Volkswagen, BMW, Walmart etc.?

Family companies and conglomerates tend to be ridden with corruption eventually. There tend to be derogatory terms for these companies and conglomerates, most famous example being Korean Chaebol's. I dont think Bayraktar is nearly at that level yet, but with Capitalism these things become quite common. It has nothing to do with idealogy or political affiliation.

TAI is a much bigger company with many divisions that handle different projects and developments. Bayraktar so far has only developed and produced drones, and is only recently taking steps to diversify its catalog and area of focus. You cant compare the two, so i dont know why people still do.

We can see clearly that our army does not want to pay tai because they want to wait and buy akıncı from baykar, our navy does not buy, only borrowed as they did on vestel, anka-B with sarper radar which very important for maritime survey,we lost two anka-s on syria and dld not replace it why?

Don't know about other places, but in my home town all great companies ( their market cap now totaling in 10s of trillions of $s) started in the garages by some kids...

of course it is . Nepotism and family business create chaos. And when the big partner die or resigns those companies often goes down the toilet because of infighting. Thats what i meant.

The performance decrease in family companies is often first evident after the 2nd generation. As you correctly mentioned, Bayraktar is nowhere close to that stage.

Ultimately, Bayraktar needs to go public, but that time hasn't come yet...
