What's new

Air War Is Coming:---

With Modi in power, that would be the last step for india to achieve rouge state status.
It's their national security teams (current and recently retired) that have started discussing Counter Force with more affinity. Their recent equipment buys, suggest that they will eventually 'feel' like they can undertake such an exercise. It does not mean that Pakistan will sit and wait for it to happen and then react.

But it's the new threat, on the horizon, atm.

So, is Cold Start officially dead?

. .
Nothing will happen at least until the new Government takes over. If Modi comes back then we can expect some fireworks.

To guys here who are afraid of any trap had we taken down the intruders in the first instance. Well, it's not 65 no more, we also had our awacs running and all cap teams were carrying bvrs with a EW and Sam support on ground. Bvr's? Anyone?

And no both indo pak militaries don't have the guts to use nukes nor they'd be allowed to.

Here's a thing about Generals and bureaucrats,

They like to play golf after retirement and no one wants to be standing handcuffed in front of a war crimes tribunal in the Hague

CSD is a conventional war fighting doctrine. CF is a non-conventional weapons doctrine.

First, Menon hints at possible preemptive elements in Indian nuclear strategy, which is puzzling for a state that professes an explicit NFU policy. Although he ultimately concludes that declaring no first use is in India's strategic interests, he challenges and erodes its operational absoluteness in the following scenario: “There is a potential gray area as to when India would use nuclear weapons first against another NWS [nuclear weapons state]. Circumstances are conceivable in which India might find it useful to strike first, for instance, against an NWS that had declared it would certainly use its weapons, and if India were certain that adversary's launch was imminent. But India's present public nuclear doctrine is silent on this scenario.”
Interesting read! All Indian talk of NFU is just hogwash then.

Exactly.

There you are, @batmannow .

All you need is a hook on the plane wing and a loop on the missile.

To fire the missile, you have @SABRE lean out and touch a match to the rear of the projectile.

What chance do these silly Indians have against technical insight of the type on display?
We hve busted your air superiority. Complex completly ?
And when your airchief wanted to plan another strike on balakot , there was no one waving thier hands for it ?
Cause all of em , are too afraid this time , they r having bad day dreams of PL15s lockins :omghaha:
Any how we hve kept the tea kettles still on fire , u should include it as a standardized SOP , cause im dam sure more of your pilots ill be sleepin in our underground bunkers under surveillance:omghaha:
We can send you some very funny clips of WC abhinandan ,how he was crying to meet his family :omghaha::nana:

Hi,

Thise vidoe of Gen Doshi proves my point that the Paf screwed up by not taking out the indian air force during the first night---. According to his numbers---12 M2K's and 4SU30's plus other assets---so at least 18 aircraft at Balakot---and almost double the size in the punjab region were moving in---so possibly between 36---50 aircraft.

Now these indians are rubbing the Paf's noses in dirt for letting the IAF's aircraft escape---.

And the drama about intentionally missing HQ and ammo dump's by Paf---that was a stupid narration of things---how dumb of pak military to do that---.

The level of stupid decisions went up by the incidence---.
I gss genral bakhsi was the commander of the indian armys musical band division , cause he acts like one :cuckoo::omghaha::yay:

Hi,

What is your problem with a few personal insults---.

It hardens the skin---it spurs the thought process---it makes you think under duress---it shapes your thinking under adverse conditions---it makes you think what was behind that insult---it sharpens your mind to think on your feet---it makes you adjust yourself---.

Not all insults are bad---.

Muhtaram, Personal insults remain insults no matter in which category. There are other ways to harden skin & does not require as such. Total inappropriate upbringing & ill manners, will do so not the someone with dignity, honour & self-respect.

Members are not allowed to personally attack each other at all. By the same parameter, everyone would be abusing each other. Therefore, posts are removed & concern members are informed accordingly.

Pakistan should acquire twin engine jets and learn to operate them. The place I question Mr. Mastan Khans view is his new found maverick(or may be it was always there) approach towards the conflict in question.

Those days were gone when americans can say just a single word about our F16s , cause they knew even when they offered last time PAF denied it.?

It's not about you, as you so signally fail to understand. It's about them. It is difficult for them to explain what their firm binding and their assurances meant, and what price the firm bindings and assurances that they seek from us will deter us in turn.

There is still a limit to how much can be donated from a brotherly country for free. It's about the money, honey.

I don't like telling senior members that they are being silly. Please ask someone else why not.
@Joe Shearer
The facts that are confirmed are;
  • one indian jet down lowered into Pakistan space
  • indians missed the targets
  • Pakistanis intentionally missed the targets
Seems like all these what if scenarios can be put to rest until we get more information. You still come out on the losing side.

Of course; I'm not denying that. I'm just pointing out how laughable is a rigid, dogmatic adherence to the second and third bullets, with as little information as everyone else not directly involved in the action has.

One more video don't know if this before or not

My memory isn't what it used to be. Remind me what reward was given to the commandant of IAFs Western Command? Or to the ace pilot who downed an F16D with a Mig21?

I'm assuming these guys are looking at promotions and awards.

What for? A brief aerial brush? It might excite fanboys; it might even excite a nation of fanboys. It will not excite a professional military service.

The AOC-in-C Western Command retired and in perfectly regular order, was succeeded by his previously designated successor.

The pilot, whose downing of the F16 is yet to be confirmed, will be rewarded when all facts are carefully checked. Who he is has not yet been made known to the public at large, and I think that it is the privilege of the IAF, and their reporting ministry, but not the third-rate scum who hang around and pollute the air, to let us know the facts in their official capacity. Until then, I will deal only with public data, and so will the two Indians who are actually far more informed than I am.

I hope that this serves to support your poor, aching memory. Wish it well from me.

What happened to Indian Army Chief - Bippin Rawat?

Where is he?

1). Will it be right to assume that he has some self respect and does not want to come out making false statements (like Gen Bakhshi) to defend his Army?

2). Will it be right to assume that he understood that Pulwama was staged and was an inside job? …. and brought his country on the brink of an unnecessary war?

I suppose he is wherever he should be; when last heard of, he was at a parade at the Para Brigade HQ.

It would be right to assume about any Indian officer or jawan that he (or she) has self-respect. There are some exceptions to the rule but I suppose everyone knows about those.

I don't believe Bipin Rawat got where he did parroting the remarks of others; in fact, he has the reputation of being a very direct forthright person, not one who goes around in a mask of bland superiority to whatever the day's circumstances might bring, and of being one who speaks his mind.

I do not suppose that it might even occur to an honourable person to suspect the Army of staging this in order to create a furore. We are not unfamiliar with it, but it was last seen being practised by some others in the region. You might want to ask around.

What I get from your post is that having run out of anything meaningful, you have taken to emojis. That speaks for itself.
