Neither were the Punjabis,Sindhis,Biharis and UP wallahs during partition.

Kashmiris are not something special for the choice to be given to them.

The main cause of this argument is simply because of pak's inability to separate religion and state. since they believe their state was founded for muslims, so all muslim regions should be with them. They cant grasp or tolerate the all encompassing secular notion based on which India was founded.
Also if we go by the pak's idea then every mohallah/street should have been given the option to form their state So, where do u stop ? this logic does not take us anywahere.
And the kashmiris never revolted against their king. So if their king wanted to merge with india, so be it. whats the problem ?

You are right in both your observations above. The Iranians are very clear about being the regional leaders, they will not tolerate any rivals. The Shah may have gone but, the imperial mind-set remains in this matter. Even the Shah was friendly only to the extent that it fed his image as a local benefactor/ Big Boss.

India's foreign policy is friendly with almost all the nations .
We even have good relations with China in economic sector . Only problem lies in strategic affairs

IRAN is not a puppet of India, to speak what India wants.

India talks against Israel when it bombs rebels in Palestein. Does Israel stops AWACS project?

Secondly, Why blame Iran when it was USA who funded and helped setup Hurriyat Conference?

Thirdly, IRAN is far more reliable than USA, when it comes to Indo-Pak war because IRAN will support India in such war, just like it did during Kargil.

Most Indians are not aware of regional dynamics properly. They see IRAN through Islam angle only. They are not even aware of how progressive IRAN's society is, despite its nutcase traditional rulers.

US is exploiting ambitions of these leaders to grab control on a progressive and oil-rich country.

First of all, how come Pakistan entered in this discussion. You should understand not everything that India does has a relation to Pakistan.

Are you actually saying that Iran is a progressive society? The same Iran that cuts off one hand and one leg for stealing and stones women for Adultery? The same Iran that hanged two teen Homosexuals just for being Homosexuals?

That doesnot mean we go and wage war against them. Those were some isolated incidents. You are creating your own enemy when you have chance to make a friend.
