I know the PAF completed its order of 14 aircraft, but I wasn't aware that the Army has also proceeded with an order (beyond the 1 or 2 for leadership). PAC did say they're setting-up a d-level MRO plant for the AW139 (via Aviation Week), so I guess that was a sign of a bigger commitment.

The Puma and AW139 are in the same MTOW class (6-7 tons), so that possibility is there, but I don't know if the PAA is pursuing a replacement as of yet.

OEM classify puma /super puma in 11 ton class which is greater than aw-139 and close to mi-17 which is 13 ton class

Unless puma and super puma has this difference ??

That's the Super Puma.

Most of the PAA's Pumas are IAR330 Puma (built in Romania), which are 7.4-ton class.

An armed forces of 1 Million soldiers needs at lest 100 Helicopters to fly in food supply or goods / water etc

IMO whenever big numbers like that are involved, the best course of action is to produce something domestically (license or joint-venture).

The COAS Team is already using the AW139's (regularly seeing traversing to an from GHQ to PM House) that are shown above as to previously they were flying the Pumas. The spared Pumas have been put into circulation for lower ranks and tasks now. AW139 was first inducted in the 6th Aviation Squadron (ERC) under Cabinet Division that does VVIP flights during Musharraf's time. The Squadron is led by an Army Colonel from Aviation Directorate. The Army Colonel who shortlisted and approved the AW139 first batch into ERC is now retired and is working for the Leonardo Group as a reward for the induction done. Hence the wise can deduce thereafter the fleet of Army helicopter pilots already trained on this heli and the preference thereafter of having this platform for Pakistan Army. Before that the AW139 was used in Pakistan by Agha Khan Foundation only

No problems. Its an awesome machine and for our topmost leaders, time is money/productivity.

Awesome and VERY EXPENSIVE to fly as well!
