Leaving aside the point that we dont know if this deal will materialize, IMHO Pakistan should focus on its own interests first and if that includes benefiting its local defense industry by selling its premier product the JF17 to Burma and other countries than by all means it should.

Again, you're looking at it the wrong way. If they use Pakistani equipment, we can put conditions on them eventually. In the worst case scenario, they have to try and replace our equipment.

There is nothing we can do, but your point of just bringing it up with the UN is simply not going to work. I understand why you're against this, but Pakistan comes first.

Irrespective of the Bhrata installed anti-Pakistani SHW govt, the people of BD will consider this an unfriendly act. Hope the deal doesn't get through.

Myanmar, Serbia and Bulgaria have active anti-Muslim policies. Why are we so desperate to sell JF-17 overseas ? I thought it was to replace obsolete fighters in PAF. We still have obsolete 186 F-7 and 162 Mirages to replace. Besides JF-17 has parts from Russia and China who all have to approve any sales and spare parts. Why don't Pakistan design and build its own fighter before starting exports.

i don't think its a good idea selling those guys the JF-17, for a country that prides itself in being an islamic republic you're willing to sell warplanes to a country whos army has killed and tortured thousands of muslims and threatens a neighbouring muslim country, Pakistani's are just hypocrites and this is coming from one of your own ppl. Our mentality is so cheap that were willing the fulfill the demands of other airforces by knocking on there door like a salesman when our own pilots are dying every month flying half a century old aircraft that should have been replaced over 2 decades ago. we have a beggers mentality once we see the opportunity to make money we're willing to sellout our own brothers to make a buck. so many pilots have been killed flying mig-21s and mirages that the PAF/government only cares about sales pitches to other countries so they can build mansions off so one elses hardwork.

Probably these senior staff Air Marshals are looking forward to bribes and kickbacks from imagined sales. While Pakistan desperately needs to replace obsolete fighters whose crashes are causing deaths of junior pilots.
