Report on Mohajir Republican Army is correct: Nisar
ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Friday said the report on the existence of Mohajir Republican Army (MRA) was correct but it was not to be presented to the Supreme Court (SC).



He announced in the National Assembly (NA) the withdrawal of the report in response to the concerns raised by the MQM legislator Khawaja Sohail Mansur.



Nisar told the House that the report was of administrative and intelligence nature. “It is not the kind of report which should be submitted to the SC,” he said adding that he had written to the SC about its withdrawal.



He said it was true that the name of Mohajir Republican Army was mentioned in an administrative meeting but no permission was given to submit the report to the apex court.Nisar said the news regarding the existence of the Mohajir Republican Army has been published in newspapers but he was not aware of it. “The government is withdrawing the report after tendering an apology,” he said.



In the same vein, Nisar said he had not stated that the report was wrong.About the firing incident on the vehicle of Sheikh Rashid Ahmad, the minister said an investigation was underway and he was not satisfied with the initial report of the police. “The matter will be probed thoroughly,” he maintained.

Great. Shift the blame onto someone else instead of weeding out the enemies of the nation that exist within our ranks. Ethnic politics broke Pakistan in half in 1971. Still we did not learn. There is no hope for Karachites. Altaf Hussain used to sit with Syed Jamaluddin. If you check this guys website you will notice he lauds everything Altaf Hussain has ever done other than calling for the disintegration of Pakistan.

This is what the way we Pakistanis vote do to us. We are more divided than ever and we want to remain divided. While Punjab is using its funds to develop Punjab, Sindh is drowning in its ethnic tensions. Whose fault is it. People who vote for MQM and PPP. Will they ever realize it, I don't think so.

It was MQM which started Bhatta system in Karachi. Their Bhatta used to be very small amount. Later it was more organised under the umbrella of KKF. Bhatta was in denomination of 70/- per slip, depends how many you can negotiate with the unit or sector incharge. Later on ANP also followed. With the formation of PAC there is not limit and 10 million is just like peanuts. PAC is much more ruthless then MQM. Since PAC has come into existence, even going to graveyard has become difficult. You never know from where they will just prop up.

Army is helpless as confessed by DG Rangers, in the hands of these politicians. Media has maligned armed forces to an extent that they have gone under confident.

An across the board Operation Encounter should take place and no arrests should be made. 10% innocent will also become part of collateral damage, this will be a sacrifice to save 180 million.
