After Germany, Italy snubbed Kashmir separatists

Srinagar, Sep 7: Ambassador of Italy in India, Daniele Mancini today called on Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Minister, Ghulam Ahmad Mir here at Royal Golf Course and discussed various matters of mutual interest with him.

The matters pertaining to tourism development initiatives put in place by the State government to rope in high-end tourists from across the globe came up for discussion in the meeting.

The Minister apprised the visiting envoy about huge tourist potential of Jammu and Kashmir and its diversity in three different regions of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh,
“The issues relating to general development of the state and welfare of people also came up during the meeting,

The rich tourist potential of Jammu and Kashmir particularly the scenic splendor of valley was also discussed in the meeting.

The Italian Envoy showed keen interest for the initiatives taken by Jammu and Kashmir government for promotion of tourism in the State. He said that Kashmir is well known in Italy and people from that Country would definitely love to visit the place. He said that the improvement in the ground situation will positively affect tourism sector in Kashmir.

The envoy accompanied by Tourism Minister also made a round of Royal Golf course. He praised the beauty of the course and appreciated the efforts of the J&K government for development and maintenances of series of golf courses in the State.

On the occasion, the Ambassador was briefed by the concerned officers about the fame and historical background of Royal Golf Course situated on the foot hills of Zabarwon and Dal Lake.
The Minister presented Kashmiri ‘Samawar’ to the Ambassador as token of love.

Managing Director, JKTDC, Shamim Ahmed Wani, Managing Director Cable Car Corporation, TufailMatoo and Secretary Royal Golf Course, Galib Mohi-ud-Din was present on the occasion.

It's good news for Kashmiri's, as Tourism is there main source of Income. I wish and pray more and more tourist from across the Globe visits Kashmir. :girl_wacko:
 
Hmm.. good. So political environment is good. Soon we can resettle the exiled indigenous communities and bring the state back to mainstream.

It is taking us some extra time but definitely there is a change in the air. Besides, what benefit would it serve the Germans and Italians to keep denying reality in the face of some cold war relic ideology?

Slowly and steadily, you conquer. Slowly and steadily.

If we were not a 'Secular' democracy, it could have been done faster. But since we are not self-reliant and therefore have to bow for a few more years in front of the 'world community', things will take their time. I hate to admit it, but that's how it will be. However, something tells me that all the chaos that is going on now in the country, will herald an era of excellent management starting the regime change next year.

Positivity plays a large part in winning you know. :)
