No talk show 5 days a week goes by without senior Anchor Nusrat Javed without faily telling his co-anchor Munshtaq Minhas that he (Nusrat) had done proper journalism and practical reporting. No programme of these two senior anchors get concluded unless at least once name of Sheikh Rasheed is not mentioned and twice a week that of Zaid Hamid. Mushtaq Minhas, in return, does not fail reminding Nusrat Javed that how they both decided 3-4 years back not to have Sheikh Rasheed in their programme and how much pride they have on their this decision. There are about 30 plus popular talk shows every night anchors of many are critical to Sheikh Rasheed and Zaid Hamid but Mushtaq Minhas and Nusrat Javed, at least to my personal knowledge, are the only ones who call these two personalities “Shida Tulli” and “Lal Topiwala”. I have never heard such labelled names from any other anchor.

Nusrat Javed is reputed that when an ordinary person during the programme contacts them, without letting the caller complete his question Nusrat, a wizard, just from the very first few initial words of the question fully gets what the caller had in mind and disconnects the phone. But if the caller is a big gun like a politician, senior bureaucrat or one from MQM same Nusrat tries to prolong the conversation to please the caller.
3. I am educated from 50s “jute carpeted free municipality” school hence does not have much wisdom. As such I never have been able to remove my very logical confusion namely prominent serious senior anchors like Dr. Shahid Masood, Dr. Moeed Pirzada, Nasim Zehra, Asma Chasudhry, Reham Khan, Kashif Abbasi including Kamran Khan etc so often repeatedly bring Sheikh Rasheed as their exclusive guest. If not calling Sheikh Rasheed is a not a wise step then why all the above named anchors don’t do the same. Secondly as Nusrart Javed repeatedly reiterates and reminds that he had done proper journalisim, are the above named all anchors without having properly studied journalism?
4. Now Nusrat Javed and Mushtaq Minhas have added two new names to be repeated in insulting manner in every programme. And those are “Afssar Lateef” {AVM ® Shahid Lateef and “Afsaar Shehzad” (AVM [R] Shahzad Choudhry. Nusrat and Mushtaq quote almost in every programmes that these two “Afssars” every night come on screen and try to spread their wisdom in all fields. Listening what Nusrat and Mushtaq repeat every night a picture comes in the mind of this fee-free educated ordinary as if these two “Afssars” have nothing else to do but every day right from 06.00 pm to midnight keep visiting main gates of every channel offering their services or begging the two dozen anchors to have them as guest in their just to start programme. I wonder if these two “Afssars” can remove the confusion of this senior citizen by directly clarifying if the anchors approach them to be the guests in debate or, as the impression comes from the tune of Nusrat and Mushtaq, these “Afsaars” themselves approach anchors requesting guestship.
