Afridi refuses to dance with wife in Indian reality show

:sarcastic:

yup, their urban society is quite backward and regressive compared to India.

I don't support these freaks, they're of the same mindset as fascist mullas who wont allow their people to have fun.. but these are isolated incidents which is why they make headlines whenever an incident happens.

our people are free to party
These regressive people don't make up 1% of our society...and we don't give a shyt ..i don't know why we are comparing with Indians with the likes of afridi..... its like Comparing present India with India of 90s...even in early 80s...females wear western clothing.

it shows your negativity not Pakistani.. not comming to pakistan its maybe an arguable thing but not involving Pakistani players in IPL shows indian negative mind...
its adjustable to have inzi bhai to teach your batsman waqar and wasim to teach your bowlers and do commentery with rashid latif, rameez raja but oh lets not involve them they will make money .. what a crap!
Either you are not getting the context or you are blowing things out of context deliberately.

Are you saying Rashid , Rameez, Wasim etc who are employed with Indians just like that? They are paid handsome amount.. so your logic of letting them make money is not valid.
Second, if money making was the only criteria for which we have not hired any Pakistani then apart from Cricket your Pakistani actors, singers, nautankibaaz etc were not seen in the Bollywood...So cut the crap.

My point is, that there was no need to approach this guy at the first step as he looks everything from religious perspective. I dont get that feeling from others Pakistani people employed in India

No, you shut up Indian. Also, stop approaching our players. Just mind your own business and stop making a mountain out of a molehill. Mind your own God damn business and sort out your own problems. We're not interested in your shows, dances and rape endemic. Keep it to yourself.
We Indians must stop approaching your players either for IPL or acting or dancing. We mind our own & u mind yours. Nobody asked you what you r interested. I have seen the protests in Pakistan when Pakistani players were not allowed to play for IPL. Don't talk about baseless or any BS. About safety & security for women,Pakistan is the 3rd most dangerous place after Somalia & Afghanistan.

She is her own person, it's not his place to tell her what she can and can't do.
depends from person to person. different people have different values.
conservatives, liberals etc and there's nothing wrong with it either.
if he didn't like his wife dancing im sure his wife wouldn't have liked doing it either.

Insha allah Pakistan team will win world cup and gift a slap in the face of BCCI.. they are ruining the cricket.. Afridi is not for sale.. he has rejected in playing IPL earlier and now he is rejecting to be part of Indian tv.. good for us.. we should boycott indian contents.. shameless actresses and nude films of boolywood!!

@ShowGun said people who dance in public place are KANJARs now you are saying it was Punjabis, Kashmiris and Sindhis and not Pathans. What are you trying to say here :azn:
look i was trying to say that Pathans tend to have um a different outlook to life and just because you deem something appropriate or acceptable does not mean that they would deem it acceptable in their culture

Please close this nonsense thread..

He is a cricketer and only news about what happens on field is talk worthy, not about he refuses to dance or what soap he uses etc etc...

Oh, he does bro.

Conservative? Heck, if Afridi doesn't want to dance or go to your country that's his personal decision. Who wants to go to a risky place where violence and rape against women is commonplace anyway?

Thanks for enlightening me about my country....So do you like to say that you are not a conservative country?...Anyway..at least we admit about the ill that is affecting our society and we are constantly facing head with these issue...what about you???...You have endless traits.attributes about your nation..I do not want to go around aibout it..you know very well..what i mean..

BTW, I do not mind if you say India is a conservative nation..It s nothing bad..

I agree with you partly but I also believe that there is a bias for the woman. He was ready to dance alone and not without his wife? What if his wife decided to dance alone on that stage.

In punjab which is half of pakistan, there used to be two classes. The land-owners and the kamis. The land-owners (chodaries) would just do the chodraan and kamis would do all the work. All kinds from of work from petty labour to small crafts (blacksmith etc) to singing, dancing, prostitution etc. So for traditional land-owning families dancing etc is insulting but for others it is not. So that means for common folks in punjab it is fine to dance in public. But dont be surprised either if some consider it low cause they are just carrying the traditions of land-owning class.

Are U a Punjabi yourself ?
If yes then are U a zamindar or a Kami as u say ???
