Afghanistan seeks India’s help as West pullout nears

We treat warlords in Pakistan very well. Let's hope he is feeling adventurous. :D

Once Pashtuns in Afghanistan realize they got used by their countrymen and the Indians, they will realize their mistake.

In Afghanistan a pastun is an expendable foot soldier. In Pakistan a Pashtun is treated as a king.

I didn't knew you guys call kings as 'akhrods'

lol, you mean Shaksgam Valley. Yup thats belongs them. They never accepted British imperialism. Yet the Indian want to steal land from China called South Tibet.

Hypocrites. At least we Pakistan do the honest thing.

lol, hahaha don't be an idiot. China is helping finance Gwadar port. Get a life you ignorant one.

Yup the pakistanis accepted British imperialism and was under US and now under China :)
Best of Luck :D

Funny things happen in the forum.

India & Afghanistan get cozy.

1) Indians are happy
2) Afghans are happy

But Pakistanis who are stuck in the middle of these two countries are feeling suffocated,
I WONDER why?:)

---

It must be noted that India acquired the Farkhor AFB in Tajikistan eventhough Indian investment and
relations with Tajik are not so strong. But in Afghanistan, India has lots of investment in various
infrastructure, development projects etc and the two countries share centuries-old relations.

All this points at impending IAF/IA bases in Afghanistani territory overlooking Balochistan & other
pakistani territories and tasked with the defence of $10 billions-worth Indian investment in the country.

Its important that 1-2 squadrons of Su-30MKI and 2 regiments of BrahMos Block-II missiles and atleast
15k IA troops are based in Afghanistan starting 2014.

india didnt announced dates for taking all the 4 million afghan refugees

any deadlines?

Waste of money, IMO. We are better off staying away from this war.

Afghans hate India. Esp hindus.

Not happening, this requires immense political will that our country's leadership lacks.

That's why we don't entered it although the US had tried anything to do so, what we aimed for is building good political relations, improving Afghan infrastructure and basic living situation, not to forget that we always search for new suppliers of resources.

Good that you are not in charge of our military. ;)

Going there won't be in our interest even if they loved us. But here case is different. They seem to hate India/Hindus even more than pakistanis. And they don't seem to want to sell their resource either. Plus there is no stability in that country at the moment. So what's the point of building infrastructure there? Talibans would blow it up eventually.

Better we ignore them and utilize money at home.

You guys are so f*cking naive its embarrassing.

Talibans would blow up your MKI and brahmos and everything. They - including ordinary afghans - don't want anybody in their country. How hard it is to get this through your head?

Who is they? Hamid Karzai is highly in favour to India, many Afghanis like India, our culture and our behaviour during the US war as well. I have many Afghani friends here in Germany, with similar point of views about India, so I can't see that Afghanistan as a whole would be against us at all.
I agree with you that it is not stable today, but one more reason for us to intervene their with any nonmilitaric help, because stability in our region is the best for Indias growth too!
I am not a fan of the Taliban and their views either, but you can't beat them as long as they have still so much support that's what the British, Russians and US learned the hard way. India once again has to show that there are other/better ways to deal with such things in a peaceful way.
