bcoz it is the cheaper to send good via Pakistan than via Iran....In economics there is no subject called emotions so let's think pragmatically before calling names....Secondly India-Pakistan relations are in much better shape than they were few years back...Iran is an alternative route should relations go sour but why not make best of it when one can, no?If you indeed had that authority, you'd have first stopped drone strikes. Not transit of goods that are non-military.
But if you want you can do so.
We cooperated with Iran on Chahbahar port for the exact same reason; to bypass you.
Iranians get millions in transit revenues while Afghans benefit from our trade. Two friends benefit from one single approach.
In fact, it is pathetic why this a$$-cleaning Congress government is so obsessed with transiting our goods through your land. A pragmatic government would have simply requested Iran for the deal.
