since UN is already dominated by us team, what kind of difference will it make wrether japan get the seat or not?

It would force US and it's allies vetoing controversial resolution themselves. With Japan(non-western) as a new actor, they can juggle the act between them, thus conserving their prestige(Japan plays bad guy). US and the West cannot forever veto, eventually they will have to cave into demands.

Also there is perception, more person veto, the more legitimate their action is.

Well then it will be a dead-lock circle......when it comes to Middle East, Shia will VETO Sunni, Sunni will VETO Shia, and they will unitedly VETO Israel, then USNC cannot work.
The problem is not justice but power, otherwise everyone wants his own justice, then nothing will reach.

I advise India to represent Middle East/West Asia. As I know, India is the biggest Islamic country all over the world, with 200 million Muslims.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia would go into a tizzy!!!! Saudi Royalty thinks it represents all shades of Muslims in the world just because of Mecca/Medina. Iran will be up in arms if Saudi Arabia gets a seat. And needless to say, Pakistan will go into convulsions! Indians representing the Muslims of Pakistan and the Middle East?? It's as hard as drawing a circular square!

You couldnt be more wrong, while France "might"(which they dont) make some half independent choice, UK is just a mini US, truth is that EU will have no true representative in UN besides Germany.

The world does not revolve around the EU. Two seats are enough. We don't need 3 out of 6 seats going to the EU.

Millitarily, India, Pakistan as well as Turkey.
Religionally, Vantican and SA.
In fact, South Korea is really a regional power if placed in other region for its strength, sadly it's between China and Japan.
