'Aap suicide mat kijiye', Sushma Swaraj tells distraught citizen
Minister Sushma Swaraj is becoming everybody's favourite, go-to 'Agony Aunt', it appears. People on Twitter have sought her help with faulty refrigerators, wayward spouses, general despair and of course renewal of passports and visas. And yesterday, the honourable minister had to talk a distraught woman out of "committing suicide."
A woman tweeted the external affairs minister saying she needs help with her visa. "Please help me for my visa," the woman said, adding in Hindi "Do I have to kill myself to get my message for help to you"?
@SushmaSwaraj

The external affairs minister told the distraught woman to not kill herself, of course. She urged her to tell her what she was having a problem with.
Aap suicide mat kijiye. Apni baat batayiye. https://t.co/Co81DSMRJU

Turns out, the Indian woman is married to citizen of New Zealand - as per her earlier tweets - and she's been denied a visa there three times.

Then Swaraj not only asked the woman to send a copy of her visa application to her office, she also gave the woman her email address.

This kind of unheard-of personalised help left the woman a lot happier. She said in Hindi: "May god bless you with all the happiness in the world. You listened to me. I thank you from my heart. Please see to my case through its end."

Bhagwan aapko haar khushi de
Mere baat aapne suni aur reply kiya...thanks dil se.aagy taak mera case solve krna
