A Soldier's Dagger

If i remember correctly, there actually is a standard issue.
However I remember the SSG, and the infantry boys were very fond of the American dagger, It was made of Tungsten Carbide.
I remember holding one, and it is indeed a very strange feeling.

The Commandos were presented a Chinese Dagger on completion of their course, from which they performed the blood oath. But that was in the 80s and 90s. I don't know if they still present them but the boys carry their own.

THis is my little baby. THe larger one got lost, this is a mini one.

Although Icarus knives put these to shame, Oh well.

BTW, that blade is dang sharp, not something to mess with.

Based on what I have seen, there is a mix of Commando utility knives of local and foreign origin in use with the SSG. The infantry troops in general have the standard issue bayonet which is not a general purpose knife as it is used for a specific purpose. However in the future, troops will have a utility knife in their kit along with a bayonet.
