This article is a sign of deep humiliation and inferiority complex. A wish for China to disintegrate into what India was: a collection of feudal monarchies pasted together by the British.

trust me no one wants in indian except some rich idiots want this to happen..in a recent poll we are more favorable towards china than other way round.

I thought people in China hated BBC and CNN.

That is why you shouldn't make assumptions about groups of people.

I read BBC and CNN all the time. I consider them to be fairly neutral and objective, well most of the time at least.

I don't go much for their views either but I take them into consideration and wait for it to be corroborated by other sources.

These results are similar to the "Pew Global research" poll results, you can check it yourself.

The bottom line is that India is more negative towards China, than the other way around.

That is from the major polls, BBC and Pew Global research. If you can find another poll, that shows something else, then you are welcome to show us.

Well, it is a fact that at present India is about 8-10 years behind on most indicators. Whether this trend continues or not is a question that the future will answer. Debating here doesn't mean anything.

We don't have to replicate what China has done. We can and will find the way that works for us in our circumstances.

But there is no reason the success can't be replicated. We grew at 6% for 15 years and more after 1991 (that was considered impossible earlier in India).

Now our trend rate has increased to ~8% for the last 5-6 years. It can go up to double digits once we take care of the infrastructure. That is happening now with big investments pouring in. It may not be at the scale in China but it doesn't have to be.

The original article was just one of many that the so called "think tanks" churn out. I am not sure why people need to sweat so much on it. Its just like the thesis people write when they complete some research project. More than 90% is junk that no one reads after the thesis is done.

Wrong we not sweat or scare by it, we just pointed out how pathetic yours so called think tank is LOL

watever satisfies ur ego and trolling.its upto u to think outside the well or do opposite.

Matter of convenience is the forte of the Chinese to suit the flavour of the moment.

I don't agree with the CCP , typical Indian fed by BBC and CNN etc etc is some of the refrains.

BBC and CNN when they broadcast anti China stuff, they are blanked out like in the Liu Xiabo issue. So, what you see is what is OK by your govt and it is no great shakes that you see BBC and CNN.

I am not here to prove how much Indian love China or how much Chinese love Indians and so I am not going to waste my time hunting for links for such irrelevant issues.

I like Chinese food. Does it make a difference to a Chinese or to another Indian?

Doesn't matter. We are Chinese so we are all the same to them.

I hope everyone can appreciate the irony here. The man is insisting to ethnically Chinese members from HK, Canada, United States, Singapore, and the UK, that only he understand press freedom and democracy, and that we should keep our brainwashed mouthes shut until we learn the meaning of freedom of speech.
