If it was as orderly as you said it was I wouldn't be bashing the government. You're bashing the wrong issues that no one in China cares about (except censorship).

This is why I laugh at all the foreigners that want China to have a revolution and a civil war. It's not going to happen because the issues that they think are important, aren't important. What's important issues are things the government can do but fail to do, not the government overreaching.

Are you speaking of Singapore?

Apparently you have not understood the post.

Orderliness is fine, but there was no MIND CONTROL or interference in PERSONAL VALUES.

I presume in China MIND CONTROL and CONTROLLING PERSONAL VALUE is not passée!

I hope that clarifies.

Mind control. Maybe they should mind control my foot up your a**. Hey its not my free will right? No grudges?

As for personal values I would also have no remorse.

Calm down, let's not sink to their level. The more they talk like this the more they drive away potential investors.

Look from where it is coming. I wonder what will be next Falling Dragon...... You Indians....

MLK and Mandela were inspired by his means of peaceful resistance against the British, probably not him per-say consider his attitude toward blacks during his time in South Africa.

This once again reflects how the Chinese are force fed poisonous education in their state run schools which is as far from reality as can be. Hopefully, one day the Chinese people will be able to question their leaders and assert themselves within their own country and perhaps emulate India one day - but that day if very far off.

Nobody is going to emulate a comparably less educated and well developed country. We emulate US, Europe, and Japan because they are more developed then us and deserve it. India, not so much.

.
In the Chinese history, the only chance for a ruling government to be overthrown is when that government failed to feed the public. Current government sitting in Beijing is doing much better than this.

Chinese people would tolerate and even support the government when there is an external threat such as now. If the world wants China to reform and allow more freedom to its people, the least they can do is not to treat China as an enemy but as a competitor. Then again, I don't believe the world really cares about Chinese. They just want China to collapse so that they could enjoy all the resource in the earth.

India is no exception. I don't believe USA, EURPOE or any country to that matter really care about Indians. One day when India reaches China's scale, everyone would be India's enemy.

Not too long ago, Americans complained that the oil price had gone up because of India and China consumption.

Actually, it is not the Chinese people who are considered the enemy - it is often the Chinese state which is. In USA, Europe and India we merely feel a sense of responsibility to shepherd states like China toward a more evolved system of governance like democracy - we are aware that this can't happen overnight and people in China are merely happy with being provided food.

Look Indian democracy is crap and we don't want it. American, European, and Japanese democracy has merits and deserve to be examined and implemented in certain aspects. Indian government is a example of what we should avoid and we thank you for that.

As for food freedom matters little when you are dead. The name of governance matters little as long as it serves the interests of the people which the Chinese government does far better.

You must first strive to emulate India in the governance and societal sphere before you move on to the US, Europe and Japan. We Indians can emulate China when it comes to building infrastructure - they have done a fantastic job and deserve kudos for that. There is no shame in admitting the pitfalls of your own country - if anything, it only shows you are realistic as well as patriotic. It is a shame that such citizens are probably jailed in China for dissidence and hence I understand your reluctance to acknowledge the shame. No harm, no foul.

Governance.

Chinese government: delivers promises and makes decisions decisively and effectively

Indian government: Fails promises and dilly dallies on important tasks.

Societal sphere.

Chinese society: is very clean and organized with low crime rates and high productivity, life expectancy, literacy, and health.

Indian society: Poor literacy, life expectancy, low productivity and appalling health issues.

I am realistic. We are behind Europe, US, and Japan. We should emulate them.

We are also far ahead of India in all things. We should not emulate them in any sense.

No shame in admitting that India is a poor example to follow. As for dissidents I can call Hu Jin Tao a m*therf*cking l*sbian B**ch, threaten to shoot his ugly face all day and nothing would happen to me.

Nothing would happen as long as you are in Morgantown.

My cousins curse about the government and the current rule in China as well to me through QQ which complies with government rules.
