What's new

A Second Iranian Revolution?

What can I say! You are trying to infer which I did not say.

Yes, you have got the Hadith. I commend that you looked for it which shows that your put effort (plz don't take that I am patronizing you as I am nobody).

I personally don't like that way clergy translate as they put their own likings.

I know a hit of Arabic so I also go to the Arabic script to see myself.

It says, religions is easy and if one be hard/strict in religion, religion will overwhem him. غلبه as used in urdu also means overwhem or
overcame, conquered, subdued, overpowered, mastered, or surpassed.

Quran has criticized Jews for red herring in religion. Says This Messenger (صل للہ علیہ وسلم) has come to free them from their yokes that were on them.
Ref, Surah 7:157.

I am not asking anyone to accept what I say, but I don't follow molvis blindly. I don't believe in Allah blindly.

Past three centuries Muslim clergy has achieved nothing. About 1.8 billion Muslims and as you are following sunnah and Quran and many faithful like you, Muslims have ZERO weight, but we have TTP, TLP, Daesh, and Taliban a plenty who are hell bent upon chopping the heads of Muslims and non-Muslims and giving a very enchanting advertisement of Islam and our Messenger, The Mercy to All Worlds.
And then we have Iranian theocratic regime killing women for not wearing Hijab.

Approach to religion is most important, after that actions automatically fall in line.

You're trying to justify that Muslim countries or leaders move away from genuine and necessary Islamization because of Daesh and terrorist groups. Not only is this an emotional argument and a complete non-sequitur but you have played into the hands of these criminal groups. Groups like Daesh and likes are not normal run of the mill group of so called Muslims. When theyre not butchering towns and villages, theyre found with copious amounts of US arms, drugs, money and alcohol! They are proxy militants funded and armed by the west and Arab states trying create a bad image for orthodox Islam, end any notion of a true caliphate whereby Muslims are united and also create constant need for US presence to counter this self-invented bogeymen. Furthermore these groups are there for war and toppling regimes the west do not like. So I would think twice before using daesh as a justification for de-Islamifying.

My exegesis of that hadeeth remains the same, and you explanation has not shed any new light on the matter. Can you also explain what you mean by "Quran has accused Jews of red herring"?

Well if you dont obey your leaders then you are in a sinful individual who is ignoring Sunnah. Here are some authentic hadeeth about the duty of a Muslim to obey their leader, even if they are tyranical as long as they allow you to practice your religion. Disobedience only comes in matters that go against Allah, not part of Islam like Hijab and beard. Your only other option is to make hijra or be another leader with an army to make jihaad for the purpose of bringing justice, which you or I are not:

1) Allah said:

O you who have faith, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those invested with authority among you. If you disagree over something, refer it to Allah and the Messenger if you truly believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is better and most suitable for determination.

Surat al-Nisa’ 4:59

2)Ali reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

لَا طَاعَةَ فِي مَعْصِيَةٍ إِنَّمَا الطَّاعَةُ فِي الْمَعْرُوفِ

There is no obedience to anyone if it is disobedience to Allah. Verily, obedience is only in good conduct.

Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6830,

3) Hudhayfa ibn al-Yaman reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

يَكُونُ بَعْدِي أَئِمَّةٌ لَا يَهْتَدُونَ بِهُدَايَ وَلَا يَسْتَنُّونَ بِسُنَّتِي وَسَيَقُومُ فِيهِمْ رِجَالٌ قُلُوبُهُمْ قُلُوبُ الشَّيَاطِينِ فِي جُثْمَانِ إِنْسٍ

Rulers after me will come who do not follow my guidance and my Sunnah. Some of their men will have the hearts of devils in a human body.

I said, “O Messenger of Allah, what should I do if I live to see that time?” The Prophet said:

You should listen and obey them even if the ruler strikes your back and takes your wealth, even still listen and obey.

Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1847, Grade: Sahih

4)Awf ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

The best of your rulers are those whom you love and they love you, who pray for you and you pray for them. The worst of your rulers are those whom you hate and they hate you, whom you curse and they curse you.

It was said, “Shall we confront them with swords?” The Prophet said:

No, as long as they establish prayer among you. If you find something hateful from them, you should hate their actions but not withdraw your hand from obedience.

Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1855,

5) Umm Salamah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

سَتَكُونُ أُمَرَاءُ فَتَعْرِفُونَ وَتُنْكِرُونَ فَمَنْ عَرَفَ بَرِئَ وَمَنْ أَنْكَرَ سَلِمَ وَلَكِنْ مَنْ رَضِيَ وَتَابَعَ

There will be rulers from whom you will see both goodness and corruption. One who recognizes their evil and hates it will maintain his innocence, but one who is pleased with it and follows them will be sinful.

It was said, “Shall we not fight them?” The Prophet said:

No, as long as they pray.

Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1854,

In fact, here is a great article to read which these quotes I take from:

When you say you dont believe in Allah blindly, I assume Allah has given you signs that he exists and that satiates your heart to remain a Muslim, correct? So if that were the case you have no excuse to not at least yearn to follow his religion as orthodox and purely as possible. There are people who, without these personal signs other than observing nature and the universe, follow their religion from birth till death. Did you know these people are amongst the 7 shaded by Allah on the Day of Judgement?:

Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “There are seven whom Allah will shade on a day when there is no shade but His. They are a just ruler, a youth who grew up in the worship of Allah, one whose heart is attached to the mosques, two who love each other, meet each other, and depart from each other for the sake of Allah, a man who is tempted by a beautiful woman of high status but he rejects her, saying , ‘I fear Allah,’ and one who spends in charity and hides it such that his right hand does not know what his left hand has given, and one who remembered Allah in private and he wept.”

Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 660, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1031

Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi (authenticity agreed upon) according to Al-Bukhari and Muslim

"A youth who grew up in the worship of Allah" would appear to be some kind of blind faith according to you or others. But do you see how blessed their condition is?

Again there is absolutely NO evidence that she was killed by Iranian police! The CCTV footage is out and she died of pre-existing condition. She fainted and died because she stressed herself out over being asked to simply fix her hijab in public. She got violent with authorities and anywhere else she would have been beaten, knee on neck and arrested! She was arrested for not obeying the rules and rebelled, and she rightly got detained. That is her own fault. She should make hijra to land of kufr if she wants to live like one or obey the ruler and pray to Allah...although praying to Allah for sinful things like living according to western liberalism at the expense of Shariah Law is also a sin.

The Islamic approach is living like the Salaf, who is Prophet Muhammad, the Righteous Caliphs, the Companions (Muhajiroon and Ansar), Tabi'een wa tabi ut-Tabieen:

Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The best people are those of my generation, then those who come after them, then those who come after them. Then, there will come people after them whose testimony precedes their oaths and their oaths precede their testimony.”

Iran Crisis Update, October 19

October 19, 6:00 pm ET
The Iran Crisis Updates are produced by the Critical Threats Project (CTP) at the American Enterprise Institute with support from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW). To receive Iran Crisis Updates via email, please subscribe here.
Anti-regime protests have subsided in extent and scale in recent days but may increase on October 20 and 26.
Many instances of recent protest activity include fewer than 20 demonstrators and therefore do not meet CTP’s threshold for reporting. The Tehran Neighborhood Youth called for protests on October 22 and October 26, the latter being the 40th day since the Iranian morality patrol killed Mahsa Amini.[1] Iranians commonly hold a commemoration on the 40th day after a person’s death. Protest organizations may seek to use the 40th-day commemoration to reignite widespread demonstrations.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) continued to threaten Azerbaijan militarily for allegedly hosting Israeli intelligence agents on October 19. The IRGC Ground Forces constructed a bridge over the Aras River near the Iran-Azerbaijan border at the end of its three-day military exercise, which began on October 17.[2] IRGC armored and engineering elements crossed the bridge.[3] CTP cannot assess whether IRGC forces entered Azerbaijani territory because the exact location of the exercise is unclear. The IRGC likely sought to use the exercise to signal its capability to attack Azerbaijan and strike targets in Azerbaijani territory, however. CTP previously reported that Iranian officials and state media assert that Israel is using Azerbaijan as an intelligence base to instigate protests.[4] Tensions between Iran and Azerbaijan have flared over Armenia in recent months, which also likely informed the regime decision to conduct the exercise.[5]
Key Takeaways
  • Anti-regime protests have subsided in size and scale in recent days but may increase on October 20 and 26.
  • Anti-regime protests occurred in at least 10 cities in 8 provinces on October 19.
  • The IRGC continued to threaten Azerbaijan militarily for allegedly hosting Israeli intelligence agents on October 19.
  • Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei gave a speech praising Iranian academics in a meeting with Iranian university science students and faculty members on October 19.
  • IRGC-affiliated Fars News Agency reported that most arrested protestors are younger than 35.
Anti-Regime Protests
Anti-regime protests occurred in at least 10 cities in eight provinces on October 19.
CTP assesses with moderate or high confidence that protests occurred in the following locations:
  • Ilam City, Ilam Province (undetermined number of protestors gathering at an intersection)[6]
  • Kermanshah City, Kermanshah Province (dozens of Razi University students protested, chanting “As long as the clergy is shrouded, this country isn’t a country,” and “get lost Basij members”)[7]
  • Arak, Markazi Province (dozens of protestors demonstrating on the street)[8]
  • Sari, Mazandaran Province (over a hundred protestors demonstrating on the street)[9]
  • Zahedan, Sistan and Baluchistan Province (dozens of Zahedan University Medical Science students engaging in a sit-down protest)[10]
  • Tehran City, Tehran Province (several protests throughout the city at different times of the day, cumulatively totaling hundreds of protestors. Security forces reportedly teargassed protestors in Ekbatan Town in Western Tehran).[11]
  • Boukan, West Azerbaijan Province (dozens of students protesting on the city streets)[12]
CTP assesses with low confidence that protests occurred in the following locations:
  • Darreh Shahr, Ilam Province (dozens of protestors demonstrating on the street)[13]
  • Dehgolan, Kurdistan Province (undetermined number of protestors setting tires on fire to reportedly deter security forces from entering the protest area. This activity suggests that more protestors were present or may join the protest at a later time.)[14]
  • Ourmia, West Azerbaijan Province (reports of clashes between security forces and officials, no footage available)[15]

Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei praised Iranian academics in a meeting with university science faculty and students on October 19.[16] Khamenei described universities as a “key pillar” of the Islamic Republic and a fundamental challenge to Iran’s adversaries. Khamenei dismissed Western reporting that ongoing unrest would collapse the regime. Khamenei did not make any other reference to the protests.
Truck drivers and petrochemical and steel workers continued strikes across Bushehr, Fars, Hormozgan, and Khuzestan provinces on October 19.[17] Haft Tappeh sugarcane workers joined the countrywide trikes on October 18.[18] An Iranian labor activist claimed that the workers ignored factory managers’ attempts to financially encourage them to return to work.[19]
Iranian sport climber Elnaz Rekabi returned to Iran after competing in the International Federate of Sport Climbing Asian Championships in South Korea without a wearing a headscarf on October 16.[20] The Islamic Republic requires female Iranian athletes to remain veiled in international athletic competitions.[21] BBC Persian reported that Iranian authorities seized Rekabi’s passport and telephone on October 18.[22] Hundreds gathered at the Imam Khomeini international airport cheering for Rekabi as she landed in Tehran on October 19.[23] Rekabi claimed she did not intentionally compete without a veil during an interview with state media.[24] Many social media users have compared the interview to a forced confession.[25] Sports Minister Hamid Sajjadi stated that his ministry would investigate the incident on October 19.[26] Rekabi could become an emblem of courageous defiance around which protestors rally in the coming days.
IRGC-affiliated Fars News Agency reported that most arrested protestors are younger than 35. Fars News stated that 42 percent of arrested protestors were under the age of 20, 48 percent were between ages 20 and 35, and 10 percent were over the age of 35. Fars News added that two percent of total detainees were government employees.[27] Iranian Finance Minister Ehsan Khandouzi announced that the regime will increase government employee salaries within one to two weeks, possibly to placate disaffected government employees.[28]
Axis of Resistance and Regional Developments

Easy to say when you are sitting comfortably in an European country and no one forcefully takes your wife/daughter (add to it that it is a man who picks them up and throws them into van) because her hejab was not proper, or police doesn't attack high schools beating school girls. Or cutting off Internet from 85 million people.
Oh wear a hijab and cut internet, oh no, life has no sense that way.

In the west women are oppressed because they can't go freely in topless by the streets, do you imagine the injustice for a native american woman?

And someone can say: who give a fck about that? 99.99% dont want to go in topless.

Well, the same with hijab and muslim countries like Iran.

Most of muslim women wear hijab freely.

And only a noisy crazy people complain about that.

By the other side if a Western woman upload a pic of her showing tits and nipples to his Instagram account, Instagram evil censors will cut access to his instagram account, is that freedom? Nipples are not related to sex, but only in the hot mind of depraved men.

NOVEMBER 2022 IRAN
A Second Iranian Revolution?

A Second Iranian Revolution?

The Islamists have made nearly all the same mistakes as the monarch they overthrew. The regime lacks an appealing ideology and shields itself in rhetoric that convinces no one. It is led by a corrupt and out-of-touch elite that relies on conspiracy theories to justify its conduct. It has pursued a foreign policy whose costs are more apparent than its benefits. And the mullahs have forgotten the most essential lesson of their revolutionary triumph: Persian armies don’t like killing their people en masse.

The new Iranian revolution has begun, we just don’t know it yet.

and some...
the paranoid Mullah regime has survived due to the majority of Rural population using the religious slogans and diverting the attention from all its disastrous policies and ruthless persecutions to Evil Western conspiracies.

American state will do great service to Iranian people by staying away and let the Iranian people rise up and overthrow this regime themselves and that will be possible if the protests are not religious or ideology but about social justice and quality of life so that people across the social classes can join a combined opposition. a minority group of educated left wing youngsters from the Urban area cant put a dent on the regime no matter how vocal and committed they are because of their small size.
the regime just kills few hundreds of them and showcases it as attack on Islam and the protests lose their steam.

With high oil prices, the regime can spread around enough largess to satiate enough of the population to slow down this way of protests. It may take 6 months, but without continued momentum, these protests are bound to fissile out. The key are the workers in key sectors such as oil production and the smuggling networks.

Any estimate how much revenue Iran is currently making from high oil prices, especially as OPEC+ cuts oil production by 2 million barrels a day?

Main reasons of the protests are:
1. Well educated independent women that would reject patriarchy and ask for more.
2. New generation whom were born in internet and have enjoyed better life than previous generations and wanna get their voices heard.
The problem here is despite what IR has done for them I mean education, job and etc etc IR has not been able to adopt itself with this rapid changes with dos and don'ts of interaction with them. like a father that despite providing everything for the his children has not been able to fathom their demands.
It is more like a conflict btw modernity and tradition. This part of society think their right and voice are not met and heard. think they are ostracized or excluded.
For me it is like what happened in many other countries and driven by economical political and cultural motivation .... like the US or EU countries like 99 percent movement that started back in 2011 :

"...According to the National Bureau of Economic Research, nearly half of American
households experienced financial distress following the financial crisis of 2008.
Unemployment rates, being more than two months behind on mortgage payments, or
owning a home that is valued lower than their mortgage contributed to this distress.5 The
cause of the crisis, according to economic experts, was a result of the “private sector’s
drive for short-term profit..."
George Floyed:

"By resonating with individuals' subgroup identities, our paper shows how movements can mobilize a more diverse crowd," said Fisher, a faculty member in the Department of Sociology. "The protests after George Floyd was murdered in summer 2020 were the largest sustained mobilization in American history. This type of sustained and diverse activism has real potential to motivate great social change."
Almost all participants were motivated to participate in the protests by issues related to systemic racism, the authors found. Consistent with prior research, however, many individuals were also motivated by other issues: One-third of respondents said they were likewise motivated to participate in the wave of protests after George Floyd was murdered because they are motivated to support women's rights (39%), LGBTQ rights (36%), and immigration rights (29%).

or Yellow vest:
"...The yellow vests movement is a populist, grassroots political movement for economic justice that began in France in October 2018. After an online petition posted in May had attracted nearly a million signatures, mass demonstrations began on 17 November. The movement is motivated by rising fuel prices, a high cost of living; it claims that a disproportionate burden of the government's tax reforms were falling on the working and middle classes, especially in rural and peri-urban areas..."
When you say "American state will do great service to Iranian people by staying away" then it shows you have no clue about how Americans are already involved in this issue ... their inhuman sanctions against 85 millions people and tightening the rope of sanctions amid Covid-19 pandemic is like a fuel to any country peace. For sure they are not caring about human right, democracy and anything related to them. they are opposite of human. they have damaged Iran middle class and now like wolf in a sheep clothe are worried about us? goh begiran the entire state.

Not France not the US doesn't face sanction.
No one is supporting terrorism against them like how host MEK and other terrorist groups, the one whom attacked Iranian people live in Sweden and other EU countries.

P.s : for more speeches please use more accurate data, base on latest statics more than 75% of Iranian people live in cities ... so the one who is paranoid is you not "the paranoid Mullah regime that has survived due to the majority of Rural population".

And please next time trying addressing others' people government overthrowing first look at the mess inside of your country.

don't worry , their ideology , if you can call it ideology at all is a lot different from those terrorists . for terorism like what you saw in Shiraz , you need a strong belief and ideology . wonder which group have that strong ideology so are ready to die for it . the ones who wanted enter female self-service or the ones who wanted to prevent them

I honestly blame the incompetance of the government for these protests. They completely mishandled the Mahsa Amini case, trying to sweep it under the rug. The problem is that Iranian people are not stupid. Nobody is going to believe that a healthy, young 22 year old girl randomly, abruptly fell into a coma and died.

The government investigated this case and put out a report. According to the report, Mahsa Amini died because of "circumstances" They try to blame her death on the fact that there was a crowd outside the morality police HQ and that prevented the ambulance from getting there on time supposedly.

That is beyond ridiculous, but even if you're going to blame the crowd, who dragged all those people there in the first place ? The government and their policies are to blame, but of course they refuse to take any responsibility whatsoever. This would be the equivalent of trying to blame George Floyds death on the drugs in his system.

I mean sure with every case there are contributing factors, but the main cause is what's important. In George Floyds case, he suffocated because of the knee on his neck. In Mahsa Amini's case we don't know but it's extremely suspicious that a healthy, young 22 year old would just randomly fall into a coma and then die of a heart attack.

It's nothing less than a pathetic attempt at deflection by the government and it didn't work.Instead of actually trying to get to figure out what really happened, instead of punishing those responsible, reforming their policies and apologizing to appease the angry crowds, instead they make excuses and this is the end result.

Iran is seeing the worst civil unrest since the start of the revolution. An entire generation of youth are disenfranchised and the country is now facing threats from every corner. Like I said, the government really f#cked this up. Now people are so angry that some are willing to annihilate their own country just to get rid of this government. This was a do or die moment for this government and they completely failed with their response.
