as of late, the bulk of media attention and limelight in lieu of 27 feb attacks is on PAF.

1. PAF , the heroes

2. PAF pilots who shot the indian a/c, celebrities

3. excessive media coverage , only being given to paf , movies made on paf

-------------

when will pak army and services branch get the credit ? the men of FC, rangers, NLI who are manning the posts and getting killed daily installing fence on durand line ?

the men who are manning LoC position and trade fire with indians daily ? when will the media embed with the men in bunkers and see real fire

to be honest, PA is not getting credit when its doing the most fighting and work , just because PAF is all glamour and pilots look 'good' on camera talking english doesnt mean we ignore PA altogether ?

i was in FWO HQ last month for a meeting . they have a whole hall dedicated to the fallen sappers of KKH road construction. a man was killed for every mile . totally moving experience

when will a movie be made on these men?

You finally posted a post without abusing and cursing - I like it.

The reality is PAF has always played second fiddle to PAK Army. However PAF's pilots get more publicity.

The hierarchy of focus should be PAF, PA and then PN. Pakistan faces an enemy 10x bigger and must follow the Israeli model of relying on its air force to cripple the enemy. Reliance on big armies and their oversized role in the military shows an outdated mentality. The chief of joint staff should be rotated among the services, as well as the DG ISPR.

Current setup looks more like a banana republic structure where army dictators run the affairs of the country and military. Pakistan army ought to show some maturity in thinking. Insistence of strong armies was what destroyed Iraq, Syria, Libya among others. The modern war is decided in the air and in the seas.

The ones who do something get the credit.

I dont believe this si true. Pak Army is ALWAYS center of attention in Pakistani mindset in general. And AF and Navy(especially) always take a back seat.

Hi,

You @#$& &$# $#$@, PAF is the most corrupt institution in the whole world... and probably in the multiverse if there are alien worlds out there somewhere.

PAF didn't shoot down 32 out of 16 Indian jets on 26th Feb, and 1200 out of 600 jets on 27th despite having the capability (although most of the times I believe PAF doesn't have the capability because of corruption, but it had all the capability on those two days).

Moreover, PAF didn't carpet bomb all J&K airbases, despite having all the ammunition and time it had. This shows continuous lack of courage and will on part of PAF high command to make an entry in the fights when required.... because they are corrupt to the core. PAF could have bought raptors, Su-57, Su-100 in 1970s but it didn't because of corruption and lack of interest.

Well, PAF has saved your behind every time the Army went on an adventure. Except for Kargil maybe, that's where they couldn't do anything. Give credit where due!

Well let's see it for what it is.
A fighter aircraft downing another fighter aircraft is something more glamorous be in real life or in movies than a 100 troopers killing each other on the ground.

Take Star Wars for example.
How many foot and ground battles can you think of and how many aerial and space engagements are easy to remember?

I am saying that since ages, giving attention to some soldiers, while ignoring others will create envoy among forces. Keep forces away from media.. That's it.
