What's new

a message to DGISPR

How about cutting some budget for the PA and directing it towards PAF?

As much as we are deservingly celebrating, we must expect that the next punch from IAF is going to worthy of its stature. IAF must be preparing for a brute EW punch to the PAF the next time and PAF is simply not adequately equipped to absorb it.

The focus of Pakistan defence should be tilted toward PAF and to maintain a credible deterrence, on strategic weapons. Ground troops are money sucking parasites, they will probably never fight but they absorb most of the budget. Gone is the era of huge standing armies.

First time PAF got attention and you got jealous, every now and then ispr song or drama is about army

PAF is the only professional organization left in pakistan and without ny doubt fighter flying is the most thrilling job in the world. 27 feb saw the first ever air combat where both the sides used fourth gen jets and by the grace of Allah almighty PAF won the trophy so they deserve all the praise.

one more attempt to divide and spread hatred within Pakistanis and Armed Forces. Most / Some / roshan Khayal / intellectual Pakistanis are really exemplary characters ......Pakistan and everything is bad....But Jamhooriyat kay sher ki bally bally..

DGISPR is doing his Job perfectly, as per the mandate / Tasks given by present Govt. PA and Govt are on one Page....best results will be achieved.

Its not about liking one and hating other, its about how the institutions are working together.

Waisay some times, Pai Ghafoor over acting kar daitay hai......par gangus ki Gaaf mae mirchi pori tarah deliver kartay hain..

The answer is very simple, Airfoce dominated the February events and not the Army, so they deserved the attention. Army itself took a the back stage. Right thing to do.

The hierarchy of focus should be PAF, PA and then PN. Pakistan faces an enemy 10x bigger and must follow the Israeli model of relying on its air force to cripple the enemy. Reliance on big armies and their oversized role in the military shows an outdated mentality. The chief of joint staff should be rotated among the services, as well as the DG ISPR.

Current setup looks more like a banana republic structure where army dictators run the affairs of the country and military. Pakistan army ought to show some maturity in thinking. Insistence of strong armies was what destroyed Iraq, Syria, Libya among others. The modern war is decided in the air and in the seas.

American and Russian model of relying on their air-force didn't do them much good in Afghanistan.

All our Armed Forces are glamorous, non controversial and loved wholeheartedly by us all. Its always been a handful of few individuals that transgressed their domain.
