Dude, khakis/ISI is not the boss, government is. Government is the constitutional boss and any kind of mess in the counry would mean that we have a poverty of good governance.

ISI/Army does share the blame, but in any case the lion's share of blame goes to the "government" who, again, is the de jure constitutional boss!

Army is the real boss here , also are you suggesting that ISI is this misinformed that they do not know there are Taliban elements in the city infact many areas in the city are in their control also they run their little sharia courts also do you think army cant exterminate /evaporate their ar$3 in one day ?? lets be logical this is a forum not a court room

You are a boss in your home. Your kid under your strict jurisdiction does something wrong. World will not blame the kid but the parent/guardian who has jurisdiction over that kid.

It is simple. Point your guns where it should be at. You are pointing your guns in a wrong direction over wrong people. The problem with Pakistan is absolute poverty of good governance. This is why democracy has failed in Pakistan in all these decades since independence.

We have never tasted democracy because our institutions are weak together with the elected government.

Everytime a military dictator intervened the bureaucracy was the first to support the Martial Law. Pretty much strange situation.

Democracy is not a magical system that sweeping it off all over Pakistan in 5 years will clean it from all the problems. Took England hundreds of years to establish a strong democratic political system in the country.

Many of us get irritated whenever there is a talk about "democracy". Democracy is not bad. Our choices and priorities are simply not good.
