Fine area of dharavi is 175 hectare or 1750000mt sq

Do calculation
it makes
18,00,00,00,00,000 indian rs

Now convert it into
pakistani rs.36,00,00,00,00,000


And now consider when this much land is brought together for Big projects.. its costs about 1.5 times to real land value ( sometimes as high as 4 times, believe me my dad is in this buisness for last 33 years ) ..

But to make you guys happy i take minimum of 1.5 times the real land value
it makes 54,00,00,00,00,000 PKR

Could we buy pakistan with it??P

Let me surprise you. Just next to a large and "infamous" slum in Bombay; a large re-development project (Bandra-Kurla complex) came up in the mid-80s. In the beginning there seemed to be no takers. I get one or two inquiries for a job in Gurgaon on a monthly basis, till they learn I'm a Pakistani . They have very good salary packages there, dunno why they are very keen on recruiting from out of India (mostly NRIs, I guess), probably due to the presence of foreigners in the area.

A lot of companies in Gurgaon are in the ITES space working primarily for US and Europe customers. Hence they prefer folks with international/onsite experience...

Something is amiss in terms of the numbers here. Development for India is a good thing by the way so I am not here to put this down in any way. My point was about how people afford it.

You know, I myself think of the same question almost every day when I go to work in gurgaon. Malls aside, a decent apartment here costs over half a million dollars and a luxury one, close to $1.2 million. Almost New York prices.. And there are hundreds of these apartments.. Sometimes seems unreal...

First of all it is in a small City my City Peshawar. So you can imagine the malls in Karachi would be far better and on a par with any mall in India.


Secondly that was suppose to be the biggest mall in Asia but later due to some technical reasons the construction was made limited to certain point.



Above all Insecure or to say show off are Indians by jumping over praise of one family from karachi for your mall.


You should have been thankful for that praise but instead you tried to present Karachi as if people there have never seen malls.


BTW i have seen Indians with open mouth looking at malls in Dubai and Japan

Well population in Peshawar and Bagalore are not too different.
