What's new

A huge military buildup is underway in Qatar.. But who will man the systems?

Stop thinking that Pakistan plays any role in this dispute with all due respect. Your training has no more value than the training that Qatar receives from the US, France, UK and Western powers in general or even fellow Arab partners. Get down on earth. A few advisers means nothing.
My ribcage is cracking with laughter after I read this. Go for it. Bust the deluded Pakistani from their delusion. Qatar like rest of GCC get what they want from US, France, UK etc.

Sobering but blunt reality.

I think Syrian Sunni Arabs don't want to rise up it was Alqaida and ISIS operatives that wanted the war and they are the ones that were supplied weapons. But that ISIS has finished and Syria is liberated from the mercenaries.

Look your posts are as useful as if I attempted to involve myself (meddle, trying to act more knowledgeable while having an obvious bias) with internal Pakistani politics in say Sindh province or Punjab. I rather not imagine that thus I keep my mouth shut and look for expertise from those who actually know what they are talking about. I keep quite. You should try occasionally.

Obviously you are not interested in any serious discussions. If you were I would have written differently to you.

As I said stick to posting PissTV, Al-Masdar and Houthi terrorist cult propaganda which attracts the usual 4-5 Mullah drones and there you can all mas******* together about the impeding dismiss of KSA, House of Saud, group x or y, regime x or y, Israel, West and what not. Discuss which Mullah is your favorite and which is not, which Mullah is "righteous" and which is not etc. And each month this process is repeated while your wishes are left unanswered. Change your long ago broken disc.

There will be no burning of each other. This has never happened in recent history. On the contrary, the GCC is the most wealthy, stable and prosperous region in the Muslim and developing world and one of the most prosperous and stable out there. A so far bloodless political dispute (most likely temporary) won't change anything. Quit your moronic delusions, troll. Stick to posting fake Houthi terrorist cult propangada of hitting nonexistent Saudi Arabian military bases. Kawli.

That is what alliances are for. Just like the US helped save Europe and USSR from the Nazis and continues to dominate NATO completely while having a sizable presence in Europe itself (UK, Germany etc.). Without NATO (another word for USA) the Russian bear might have returned to its former hunting ground (half of Europe). Which country is half of Europe (Eastern Europe) looking towards when they feel threatened by the bear? The UK? France? No, it's the same US that they are now asking to protect them. Just like the US aided Pakistan when Afghanistan was at risk of becoming a USSR satellite state.

There is no shame in KSA 30 years ago (a totally different country with a totally different population, military, economy) and other Arab countries (Egypt, Jordan, UAE) and much of the West (USA, UK, France etc.) joining hands in order to liberate tiny Kuwait against Saddam's Iraq, which at that time had the fourth largest army in the world. It's common sense and this was not done out of the love for Kuwait but due to Western interests as well.

Qatar envoy calls on Defence Minister Khurram

Al-Mansouri showed keen interest in learning about Pakistan’s potential of manufacturing Super Mashshak aircraft and JF-17 Thunder aircraft at PAC Kamra. The visiting dignitary acknowledged the existing scope and scale of cooperation in the field of defence between the two countries and desired to undertake the joint ventures in the respective field on progressive basis.

Well, that's strange as I thought that it was Arabs from today's GCC that ruled the Caliphate (creating the largest and arguably most influential empires in the region in history in the process stretching from France to China) from the very beginning and 1000 years after that in a row at the very height of the Islamic civilization. Or Arabia being one of the most wealthy regions since time immortal (Incense Route to mention a few examples) already 1000 BC. One just need to read what the Romans and Greeks wrote about Arabia. It's all out there. You being an ignorant about the GCC and Iraq (which in theory could very well have been a GCC country too due to bordering the Gulf and being an neighboring Arab country as well) is not really my problem.

As for Bedouins (one of the most ancient people and the most (arguably) influential nomadic/semi-nomadic people) with a rich culture (poetry, music, art) that has been immortalized in even Western literature, they are and were always a small minority. So-called "Bedouins" were people who were on the move due to geography, climate and who were settled for a large period during the year to move on at the end of the year due to farming. That was the description (Western) of Bedouins 100 years ago. Arabia is home to some of the oldest continuously inhabited cities and civilizations on the planet and is the second oldest inhabited place on earth by humans after Horn of Africa and Eastern Africa.

We are at the top of the food chain (historically) by all accounts and at the top today in our own category (Muslim world and developing world). Nothing to be ashamed of, rather the contrary! Hence the historical Arab pride that your likes complain about for God's know what reason. This thread is a good example. Deal with it and don't bother me with it.

Agreed. No doubt. When you have the money. You go for the best of best. If you can afford a Mercedez, BMW, Rolls Royce, Porsche then you don't go for Suzuki Mehran. It's that simple and I wish many of my dumb countrymen woke up to this fact. Saudia Arabia/GCC will go for the best from US, UK, France etc.

As Pakistani's we are left out cold in the servant quarters to b*tch and moan about US and the West. And some of us pull our d*cks out and masturbate about the ummah.

Al-Mansouri showed keen interest
So you think he is going to overlook the Porsche, Ferrari, Mercedez Benz and settle for Suzuki Mehran? Get a grip for Allah's sakes.

Not fair. Chuck me out of UK and you out of USA and we would be back to walking on mountains minding flock of sheep ~ throwing rocks as entertainment.

There are only 2 air forces capable of manning those Toys it will be either PAF or TAF. Until QAF gets in shape. That is why Qatari were so interested in PAC and PAF. Obviously USAF will train them as they are very close to them but they will be enhanced by TAF and PAF because USAF wants to keep IAF dominant in the area.

You realise only reason western countries look the other way when it comes to human right abuses in GCC is because of billions they spend to buy weapons from them? Qatar is doing just that right now to get as much support as possible. They will get training from people who make these planes, PAF doesn't even come in to picture.

KSA or the GCC is not blindly following anyone but only a fool would not recognize the wide-ranging and multidimensional clout of the so far only superpower on the planet. The US. A superpower that was even more powerful when the First Gulf War began which occurred almost simultaneously with the collapse of the USSR. Back then the US/West were also much more dependent on oil from KSA/Iraq/GCC/Gulf region in general. Nor is it in their interests for a hegemony in the region (in this case Saddam Hussein and Iraq) to emerge hence why they are fueling the proxy wars in the region to this very day 30 years after.

As I wrote, the US (as they played the biggest role in chasing Saddam Hussein away from Kuwait - UK, France, KSA, Egypt, Pakistan etc. all played a minor role and for most (if I am not wrong Pakistan as an example) they never really fought a single battle. For instance the only fighting done in KSA was the fighting in a small coastal town called Khafji and Saudi Arabian soldiers performed well as per the words of US generals (Schwarzkopf) and helped liberate the city.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Khafji

It's worth having in mind that Iraq back then had the 4th largest army in the world. Obviously tiny Kuwait did not stand a chance although there was resistance by locals albeit futile (surprise, surprise). Nothing to be ashamed of at all.

I can't speak for other GCC states but KSA (the regime that is) has arguably been one of the most calculated and clever regimes in the region. The House of Saud has been a constant in the region (modern-era) like no other. Other countries have been ravaged by civil wars, revolutions, "Islamic" revolutions, military coups in the dozens, shifts in ideology (Arabism, Islamism, communism etc.) KSA has weathered them all while being pronounced "dead" multiple times. Now MBS is engage in another kind of war that so far has been a remarkable success. Obviously it is hard not to be impressed if one is familiar with the region.

Hence in point China being the largest trade partner for years, relations with Russia reaching unseen heights (just recently a nuclear partnership was signed) etc. So yes, KSA is in good hands by large. Obviously this makes certain people angry.

Price of one JF-17 25 million price of Rafel 160 million. which is more cost effective approach to infiltrate a Area denial or Which jet can take down F-35 in a cost effective approach.

In price of one Rafel you get 6 JF-17 that means JF-17 is more cost effective to infiltrate an area denial situation.

So there are no human right abuses in Pakistan or Chad? Or what about Mauritania? Why is the West not invading Mauritania? Or Azerbaijan?

No, because the world (real one) does not evolve around "human right abuses" (as if the likes of the US are innocent or anyone else for that matter:rofl:) but common interests, geopolitics and business. GCC is highly important in all 3 categories. Regardless of whether the GCC were to remain monarchies, republics or my favorite political ideology (meritocracy).

Also you must be out of your mind to think that the West is not out there to protect its own interests first and foremost. They are not having ties to the GCC because they love us or hate us. Similarly with all other countries regardless of whether they say otherwise and point out a common political system, historical ties, some imaginable brotherhood etc. as they tend to do with the likes of the UK and France. At the end of the day it's all a jungle and each state is looking out for its own interests.

Which is why France is so close to Qatar while it condemns similar regimes elsewhere. Don't blame those involved but the game (world) itself.

@Kaptaan Qatar has bought JF-17 they are not making it Public because of Saudi backlash on Pakistan and AZM is being funded by Qatar as well to some extent. This will come as a surprise one day to every one.

Shuuhhhh. Don't tell but Qatar has bought my services as their next chief of defence staff. I am preparing their military plans. Keep this hush hush okay. They are keeping it secret because there might be backlash from @Sharif al-Hijaz as he was expecting to get the job.
