This national consciousness is very positive for your community.

Some good has definitely come of the galvanization of Muslims in India following these mob attacks. I hope the voices of these poets reaches the world.

I will not like your post due the shirk inherent in the word gods, however we must temper our anger against Qaddafi and Nasser, as in the end of the day, they were both Muslims and did both good and bad things.

I know some of my Libyan and Egyptians friends would be furious to hear it, but it is the truth.

It was amazing, for example, to see the almost overnight change in Saddam's behavior when he was being sentenced to execution by the Americans. Then when he was ready to be hanged, he recited the kalima shahadah and became a shaheed in front of the whole world.

Some of those hanging him were stuffing things in his mouth to make him stop, and crying about it.

In much the same humiliating fashion, Qaddafi was killed and abused before death, as a Muslim we should have heart and atleast pray for their forgiveness.

He wasn't. He was like Aurangazeb. Do you even know where is Mysore and who lives there?



That's the lamest argument ever. People who fought the British the most were the Maratha empire and the Afghans. We hate neither.

My ancestors converted to Islam during Sultan Aurangzeb's reign, so how can I hate the man?

The Islamization of the Rajputs was completed under him, because of all Mughal kings, he was the closest to us. Even when Rajput clans rebelled, he was very lenient with them and even withdrew in case of we began our custom ofmass-suicide on defeat. He preferred to lose a battle than to see innocents being put to deatg. It was this magnanimous nature of his which earned him the trust of Rajputs.

Indeed he was a Saint, a wali of Allah swt, and the most noble soul of the Mughal lineage.

As far as the Marathas, they took advantage of the misfortunes of the Mughals to inflict even more suffering on the ordinary people of the empire. They looted, raped, and set to fire all manner of buildings, including Hindu temples. Furthermore they attacked Hindu tribes and people, in addition to Muslims. They were no grand defender of Hinduism as RSS preach. They did not have altruistic motives in their arson and debauchery.

Alhamdulilah that the Durranis came when they did to stop their advance into modern Pakistan and Afghanistan at Panipat.

This comes to the issue of Afghanistan. Durranis under Ahmad Shah Abdali, whom we call affectionately Ahmad Shah Baba, united Afghanistan and modern-day Pakistan into one state. Both nations recognize themselves as the successors of the Durrani state.

I personally see Afghanistan and Pakistan as one nation, and take the Durranis as the basis of that union. However for most of our history, we were one nation too.

Whatever the circumstances then, the invitation to the Deen has liberated future generations (you for instance) from a life of superstition and hate.

I often lament at the fact that Islamisation was not extended to the different parts of nation. That problem of Hindutva could have been nipped in the bud. Instead, we see the monsters created today.

Tipu was a zalim only to criminals and rebels. Not very different to how India treats Kashmiri fighters.
