Let us return to the topic of this thread.
I sometimes think about how cool it would have been if Jordan had annexed/incorporated/joined hands/united with Palestine and had merged with KSA and Iraq.
Or if the joint Arab Federation (Iraq and Jordan) had kept it borders.
What is a shame for me is that there is no longer a single Arab entity that has access to the Red Sea, Gulf, Mediterranean, Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean at the same time.
I think it was a mistake of the Arab leaders back then not to secure Palestine but on the other hand WW2 and massive Western support for European Zionists was impossible to fight with back then.
In any case 2/3 of all Israeli Jews are Arab Jews and 20%+ of all Israelis are Palestinians and I still believe that Israel and Palestine will merge eventually, basically turning Israel into a pseudo Arab Jewish state or some mixture of it (as is already the case).
A united Arabian state would have access to all except for the Med. If history had been a bit different, Sinai could have joined hands with KSA or Jordan, and access to all 5 could have been achieved.
Ideally Egypt, KSA and Oman would be enough.
Anyway the boundary and distances are tiny in that region:
Anyway that was actually off-topic.
Amazing.
@Philip the Arab I just read that KSA is helping increase the water levels in the amazing Dead Sea and will bump desalinated sea water into neighboring Jordan.
