A Delay In MMRCA Is Not a Blessings For Pakistan Air Force

IAF will go for upgrades on SU30 MKI . Buying SU35 will be like you have corolla Xli instead of upgrading it to Gli standards you purchase a brand New Gli .
Here is the bad luck of IAF as cannot go for Su 35 as you can achieve almost same configurations or better by upgrading existing flankers and Russia is $$ hungry they want to sell Su35 .

Regardless of whether we eventually end up with getting the Su-35S or not (which for me is still a big question mark), the fact that I have now encountered a few references that the upgrades that are to carried out after 2017 on Su-30MKI will put it at par with the Su-35S needs a little clarification.

Can anyone tell me what the upgrades will be?

Will the upgrades include replacing the MKI engines with the engines that the SU-35S has?
I am asking this because this will have a +ve impact on MKI's agility.

Will MKI's RCS be lowered to the SU-35S level?
If the RCS is managed to be lowered than it will certainly be detected by enemy radars late and at lesser distances.

I assume that the MKI will be most likely getting a powerful AESA radar and brand new avionics and new Electronic Attack suites, Its air to ground capability is also going to be enhanced ... but is there anything else?

Will appreciate a knowledgeable answer supported with links if possible

I dont see that as securing our nation. I see that as giving our rivals the excuse they need to push through the mmcra deal and other deals like this. Therby weakening our nation's defence.

They won't wait for Pakistan doing what or purchasing what for itself ?

the super sukhoi MLU is all about adding a new cockpit layowt, AESA Radar & EW suites and a latest gen self protection jammers and the new and less mantainence oriented version of AL-41 engines as for RCS reduction not much than adding a new RAM coating and possiballi two new wingtip hardpoints

even if PAF gets a full squad of su-35 today it will still not be bettle ready as you need at least 2-4 years to make a new air doctroine around them while indians are parctising on MKIs/Su-30 for almost 15 years think about that too even if you forget ... khair janne do

Well its going to be a new and enhanced air craft for sure with that package. It also is going to be a huge project as well. I am assuming that this will be done for the entire MKI fleet? If so, then why are Indian members even concerned by the so called news on talks for a few squadrons of SU-35 to Pakistan?

So, if you look at it from another angle, the Russian ambassador to India actually spoke the truth. These talks if it ever turns into a deal (a big IF) will in no way threaten the security of India. What do you think?

You forgot the engine issue which india tried to block so that Thunders couldn't participate in their first ever 23rd march parade .
