9,000 CCTV cameras to be installed in Karachi

9000 cctv cameras are not much.

in chongqing china, there are more than 300 tausend cctv camera active.
and will increasing to halb million till 2014.

and only in 2010, we installed 10 million cctv cameras in china in only one year.
target is 1 camera for 10 people.

pakistan has 180 million population. so you need 18 million cctv cameras.

didnt karachi already hav command & control system with 1000s of cameras already working since last several years?
why need more?
