89% Of Pakistan Cannot Afford Internet – IMF

. . .
On my last trip, I saw chachas (uncles) and dadas (grandpas) using internet in the villages and posting their latest selfies riding a tractor to the fb and instagram. ...
What weed is this IMF chief smoking?
Actually I wished Pakistanis had little less access to the internet and spent more time on interacting with the real friends than the virtual clowns.
I think he was Indian tata sniffer

. . . . . .
LOL bakwaas dont know from where this IMF got such figure... even my maid in Pakistan using whatsapp.. woh bc pani say chalati hey whatsapp ?
I guess you have never been to rural areas of pakistan where most of our population exist. In interior punjab and sindh even where its possible to use internet people just dont avail internet packages by cellular networks because using internet there is not a norm and not part of their daily lives.

.
Internet is more or less free in India ever since Reliance jio started their unlimited plans. The cheapest phone plan is the one with 30GB per month Internet ( roughly 100 rs or 2 dollars). Plans without Internet are typically much costlier.
Considering even daily wage labourers need and do have a basic cellphone, these numbers are way off.

.
Lol yesterday the rickshaw wala was using Google maps in which I was travelling and 89% Pakistani's don't have internet

.
What a load of bs, even the home servants have it, the cheapest smartphone is 50$ and cheapest internet bundle is 3$ , ofc everyone has it

.
What a BS? 20 Crore Pakistanis out of 22 crore can not afford Internet? This is nonsense.

.
so we should ask imf and u.s to give internet to us free or at low cost than rest of world
