Bhai it varies from 12 to 24 aircraft. 12 bring the bare minimum. I am not sure of the composition of PAF
We also need a sizeable fleet of 5th generation aircraft in the next decade. I would say around 100 5th generation aircraft.60 aircrafts are a very significant number. Such numbers are seen in the Red flag or other major multinational excersises.
PAF needs to order 60 J10CE minimum. What good are all these interoperability excersises if we dont operate any of the modern PLAAF jets today? There is a significant windown of opportunity that pakistan-China can exploit via Gangedesh within the next few years.

In Total, PAF = 414 vs IAF 900 (All kinds of military aircraft)

Wikipedia is an extremely unreliable and inaccurate source. 414 versus about 800 is the correct number. You are missing approx over 200+ if you had followed his link it would have been much easier..
India technically only has 610 excluding the 73 tejes that is still not in service and on order..

Wikipedia is not a good source, it can be edited by anyone, and is usually hounded by Indians, I once made the mistake of taking a few hours to update the inventory pages for the PA and PAF, a minute later Indians had reverted them again.I actully made a mistake Pakistan has 683 fighter jets in total.. Not all of them are in service tho some of them are reservers. Only around 394 are in service the remaining are reservers..

Also, is the headline supposed to mean that we are sending 60 aircraft for Shaheen X or that a total of 60 aircraft are participating from both sides combined? It’s likely the latter and not the former. That’s still a massive number of aircraft for just two countries.

PAF has about 410-420 combat aircraft in service.
It is highly inaccurate as it counts the mirages that were bought for spare parts as well as several extra F7s which were scrapped, crashed or put up as monuments. There aren’t 250+ reserves at all.It is not inaccurate.. You have just added in service but there is about 250+ reservers
So will we see another "unmarked" J-10 this time or will it be a J-20?

60 aircraft! If it's held in China, then PAF can't send F-16, new J-10C not ready, so JF-17 and Mirage? Any chance seeing electronic jets, auxiliary jets or UAV? From PLAAF I hope this time they send some UAV, like GJ-11, WZ-7.They were not "unmarked" ... there were only a few who refused to look at the clearer images of the participating J-10Cs which clearly showed national markings as well as serial numbers, but thsi would have ruined their hopes they are not for Pakistan already!
