6 Including Major Martyred Near Turbat in IED Attack

They should use Hamza ...I don't understand . We make Hamza, but we don't use it. They need drone aerial surveillance before entering the zone.

Any estimate of how much the Hamza costs. If it is under $500,000 fully loaded it will be one of the most competitive MRAPs available.

Considering the terrain and the threats, Pakistan needs these in the thousands, to replace those Toyota Hylix pickups. Our troops deserve decent protection. An initial batch of a 1000 deployed to the highest risk areas will be a huge show of force to the enemy and a morale boost to our troops.

Alternatively, if the US has any spare MRAPs they are removing from Afghanistan, Pakistan should make an attempt to procure as many of them as possible, under the excess defense articles clause, similar to how the UAE bought over 4500 for only $556 Million

If a similar number and price can be acquired, even if Pakistan has to pay for them, it will be worth it. It would be even better if it could be paid for by CSF, but that might be hard to do under this presidency, despite Pakistan’s efforts in building regional stability.

HiLux is cardboard box ... we lost so many soldiers.

Exactly, our troops deserve better. The first thing we need to procure beyond what we have committed to, are MRAPs. The threat isn’t going to go away any time soon. We need to try to get a deal like UAE just did; 4500+ for only $556 million. Even if we have to pay out of pocket, it is worth it.

Besides MRAPs, we also need more transport helicopters which can be armed, but are light enough and fast enough but also have decent range for roof top insertion and to chase down bad guys during or after an attack. Something like the AH-6I. This should also be something the government should look to peruse. If there are any excess transport helicopters Pakistan can purchase under excess defense articles it should look into those as well.

Pakistan should look into modify its current fleet or procuring more and modify the Ecureuil helicopters it operates. this could be a great QRF commando Helicopter.

3 of these light helos along side a couple Mi-17 and 3-4 WZ-19 couple be a decent QRF to back up a battalion sized force in these high threat environments.

If the enemy knew our troops could do some thing like the following, they would be more likely to be deterred, as they would know our commandos could chase them down and get them.

And for enemy operate just over the border or far away from helo bases, our forces need UAV cover. Ch-5 drones could ensure long duration coverage while our troops patrol or search for enemy forces

This banana state cannot protect their soldiers and keeps sending them to their deaths in a Toyota Hilux without any backup support.
I hope the soldiers wake up and ask for better equipment or dont work at all.
They too are someone's father, brother and Husband.
Most of Balochistan Assembly comprises of Terrorism supporting smugglers who will take money from anyone and sell their mother.
Too easy for India to buy them and arrange these terror attacks.

UPDATE: Unfortunate news coming from Balochistan. My sources are now confirming the IED + gun attack claimed by UBA Monday evening in Bolan area. 6 FC soldiers have reportedly lost their lives and 4 wounded as per sources. Still officially unconfirmed though. #Pakistan

This was one of the images released by UBA purporting to show what was left of the Toyota open top vehicle that was targeted. Note the attack has been confirmed by local media sources but not by security sources yet. So I'll wait for that confirmation too. #Bolan #Pakistan

In other countries even death of a single soldier is properly investigated and cause and responsibility is fixed by the army internally as well as by civilian government. So the same does not happen again. But it seems there is no concept of accountability in Pakistan. This army of amateurs with short memory just make the same mistakes again and again. Generals are living in air conditioned palace with all luxury but can not provide basic gears to soldiers at war and dying mercilessly. If these dastard incident happened in other countries, the in-charge of FC Balochistan would have been court martialed for incompetency and criminal negligence. But in Pakistan we will hear bravado and chest thumping by generals and their fan clubs....

If I’m not wrong this UBA is also based on Iran?

Pakistani Generals are living in air conditioned palace with all luxury but can not provide basic gears to soldiers at war and dying mercilessly. This will keep on happening until the handlers are not told that two could play this game. With dragon breathing down their necks at LAC, Pakistan should have the latitude to go a bit berserk in IoJK. Right now, it’s only offering the other cheek.

Whoever is commander southern command and incharge of MI in Balochistan needs to be fired immediately. This is simply unacceptable.

This is very depressing news, the question why is Pakistan army not learning from thier mistakes, they need to send SSGs in to clear the dangerous den of terrorists.

Not one news channel is reporting it. Lakh di Lanat in sub ghardoon per. Line main khara ker ka goli mar deni chaie.
