Did the Sinhalese fearing the Tamils make the Tamil lives any better? There are no winners in a war,especially a civil war. I am sure Tamils will have a better life in a peaceful Sri Lanka than under the LTTE during a civil war. Raking up this issue without knowing the ground situation will only show us Indian Tamils in bad light.
