Interesting to see India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh on the same side for the Ukraine-Russia crisis. India's POV and even Pakistan's POV to some extent is understandable but what about Sri Lanka and BD?

By the way what is Eritrea doing by favoring a Russian invasion? They themselves will have a threat of being gobbled up by the neighboring African countries

Bangladesh is eternally grateful to Russia for 1971. We won't do or say anything againt Russia. Besides BD generally is a neutral type of country, minding our own business.

Also, BD has a Russian nuclear power plant about to start operation and operates a lot of Russian weapons.

Remember a Russian diver(Yury Redkin) was killed clearing the mined Chittagong Harbour after the war. He is buried in the BD Naval Academy.

While I am against the Russian invasion, BD did the honourable thing in abstaining as it owes a huge debt to Russia for 1971 and Russia's general friendly attitude to BD since then.

Feel bad for Ukrainian civilians but Pakistan should never vote in such racist groups like united nations. What did the world did for Kashmir and Palestine? Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya destruction is also a fresh memory for most Muslims.

I agree.

The UK now says it will "hunt down" Russian generals who are involved in the invasion of Ukraine.

What about the war criminal Blair and the UK generals who caused such death and destruction in the invasion of Iraq in 2003 without even a UN mandate?

Although I am 100% against the Russian invasion of Ukraine, it will be a better world as China/Russia and other rising powers like Turkey are able to break the Western monopoly on economic and military might.

Not only that Russian martyr, without USSR's support and sending their submarine US could have prevented our independence. Also after the independence they gave us latest model brand new Mig-21s. Russia can do whatever it wants, it's none of our business. They helped us and we are not ungrateful as a people.

Myanmar and Afghanistan votes are from prior regimes as the current regimes have not yet been recognized.

All CSTO countries abstained or voted Against the resolution (Supported Russia)

All ASEAN Countries except Vietnam and Laos Supported the resolution.

As Ukrainenans made it clear already, Its european war, imn which white Europeans are fighting , and thats where they want help from.
It wil be a shame for colored prople to butt in.

But on this vote all these nations were together.

The issues between these countries are not unsurmountable if they can keep the West away and not become victims of West's divide and rule policy.
