Interesting to see India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh on the same side for the Ukraine-Russia crisis. India's POV and even Pakistan's POV to some extent is understandable but what about Sri Lanka and BD?

For me it doesn't matter who is united, for me right & wrong matters. Only thing US had to do to stop this war was to assure Russia they were not including Ukraine, Bosnia, Herzegovina & Georgia. But US wanted to have another war as it has always been at war in the past 200+ years. Yet ironically, it loves to label others are dictator. This status quo is extremely corrupt & racist, it has only brought destruction for the world. An arms race, policy of hegemony, monopoly and military dominance. It has never raised real issues of humanity. It would collapse sooner or later because it is not sustainable. It has inequitable distribution of everything.
Plus in its own domain US implements 1823's Monroe Doctrine, a 198 year old doctrine in which it has zero tolerance policy to presence of any unfriendly nation in its region. But it has double standards when it comes to defence of other countries. How about Russia goes to Bahamas, declare it part of Russian alliance and place it missiles there? How would US feel then? What about right of choice for those people?

Cuba has had a military alliance with USSR during the cold war. Ditto with Nicaragua
Russia cannot dictate what people of Ukraine and other independent countries want to do. Russia has enough nukes to destroy the world multiple times over.
Even the heading isn't misleading since I have clearly said that 4 countries have abstained from voting against Russia, which is technically correct. If you feel the heading title is incorrect and is sending the wrong message to the reader, you can reach out to the mods and confirm with them. From my point of view, I don't see any fault in that, it's just that maybe you are misconstruing it.

But those countries don't matter since the European countries have greater clout in the World Forum and are also closer to the region of conflict. It just re-emphasizes that many countries have always been concerned about their own self-interests and don't really care about what happens in faraway regions as long as their region isn't affected.
